I wipe my tears and close my sketchbook. I do my normal nightly routine. I put my phone on a charger and head to bed. I have a different dream from the ones I have been having. I wake up with tears streaming down my face. I quickly wipe my tears and get dressed. I head to my bus stop and wait for the bus. When the bus arrives I get on and head to my seat. I look out the window as the bus drove.
"Why so gloom." Sasha ask taking a seat next to me. I take out my phone and open up the chat between me and Luke and hand it to her. She reads the conversation before looking at me weirdly.
"So you lied to Luke and you feel terrible. Just apologize and say you panicked." Sasha says handing me back my phone.
"But I'm not ready for relationship." I lied again causing her to glare at me.
"One date doesn't mean forever. And beside I've seen the way you look at him. You are more than ready for a relationship. It's just a matter of convincing yourself." She tells me seriously and I smile. I enjoyed the moments when she showed she cared and actually gave advice.
"Alright I will." I tell her
"Good because he is in the gym." Sasha says as the bus pulls into the school. I get off the bus in begin to head towards the art room before she grabs my arm and starting pulling me in the opposite direction.
"Sasha I didn't agree to this!" I scream as I get pulled towards the gym. Despite my protest and struggle she pulled me all the way to the gym. When we arrive at the gym I see Luke sitting on the bleachers wearing the school gym uniform.
"Hi Sasha,hey cutie." Luke says with a playful wink and I slightly blush.
"Anyway Luke Soutine has something to say." Sasha says nudging me. I freeze and try to think of something to say. Luke tilts and gives me a really cute confused face. My face becomes redder and it becomes harder to think.
"What you want to tell me, cutie?" Luke ask with playful smile.
"Uh.. I ... umm I-I l-llike y-yyou." I
00000 stutter looking at the ground.
"What about that text you sent last night?" He ask
" I panicked and lied. I really like you a lot to, your an inspiration." I tell him looking up at his face and he smiles.
"So how about that date?" He ask and I nod." F-for real! Wow I didn't plan on you saying yes. But don't worry I will plan us the best date ever."
Sasha giggles as she takes a picture of us.
"This one is for the books, see you later Luke." Sasha says as she walks out of the gym and I follow her. I wave goodbye to Sasha and begin to head to the art room,before I rounded the corner that lead to the art room. I feel someone grab my arm. I turn around to see Kimberly.
"What do you want?" I ask
"So Monday you said later and it's later now. So what's going on with you?" Kimberly ask.
"I totally forgot about that promise Kimberly, I am just trying to figure things out." I tell her simply and she stops and thinks for a minute.
"Is it personal or are you willing to tell me?" She ask
"Its really personal, maybe at a later date?" I suggest and she nods. She let's go of my arm and walks away. I head into the classroom and sit next to Gatio. I feel my phone buzz and I take it out. To sees text from Seijun.
Anime queen: can you do the banner for melody-chans birthday Sunday?
Me: of course Seijun. I would love to.
Anime queen:Thank you, can you deliver by tomorrow night?
Me: I can try.
I get off of the chat between me and Seijun, and begin to open my sketchbook to a new page.
"Do you have your project drawn out?" Gatio ask looking up from a sketch he was coloring.
"Yeah I'm just trying to figure out how I want to color it. I already have it scanned so I might do it digitally or color it with a colored pencils and copics." I tell him.
"Your not going to paint it?" He ask
" I might do a water color version if I have the time." I tell him and he nods.
"Can I see it?" He tried
"You'll have to wait." I tell him and he sighs before he goes back to coloring whatever he was coloring.
"Is that for the art contest or your project." I ask.
"You'll see." He says with a smile and I roll my eyes. We idly chat as class goes on. When class finish, we head our separate ways. My day leading up to lunch was relatively normal. When the bell signifying first lunch rang, Sasha, Luke, and me walk together. After getting our lunches we sit at our usual table.
"So Soutine can we hang out tomorrow?" Luke ask with his trademark smile
"We can but I have to do something for Melody's birthday first. Maybe you can help?" I suggest
"Should I bring a change of clothes?" He ask
"Most definitely." I reply and there was a cough.
"Luke-kun, Soutine-kun there are other people at the table." Seijun says and the both of is blush and turn our faces away from each other.
"Man I only got one picture for memories." Sasha says disappointedly and I glare at her.
"Oh are we all going to Melody birthday party Sunday?" Hye-in ask.
"Um, I don't know melody so I can't go." Luke says nervously. I look at him and he looks like he did when he first starting sitting with us.
Like he didn't deserve to be there.
"Melody-chan is really nice and will most likely enjoy you there." Seijun encourages
"Yeah, you are our friend and it will kinda be like an introduction to our other friends." Hye-in told him, making him smile.
"Alright I'll go." He says
A/N: whoa this chapter was easier to write then the last one. The next chapter will start with a quick summary, then get into the first scene. I hope you enjoyed and have a good day/night.
