Lokis pov
~~~~~~~~
I could sense something evil near the ship, something coming for...
Alina.
I had never ran that fast in my life, even with Okhasis and escaping. I whipped my head around, and saw my friends were sprinting and yet, 50 yards behind me.
"You guys are slow! Someone could be in danger." I shouted over my shoulder.
"No! You just went like, 90 miles an hour!" Katelyn shouted. Katelyn and Garroth were some of the fastest runners I've ever met, but I've never outran them.
"The
Let's worry about that later. The ship. Aphmau. Alina."
They nodded, and we took off sprinting like maniacs. We skidded to a stop, and looked up and around the ship. It seemed fine, all the boards in place. Excpet...
It reeked of death. And if anyone reeked of death, it was
"Shad." I spat.
We raced onto the ship, searching for anything. Everywhere.
I went to the secret door-thing under Liochant's bed, and found Lio, Leona, Lilith and Alina.
"Dont. Say. Anything." Leona mouthed. She clutched Alinas sleeping head, as Lio did with Lilith.
"Where is he?" I mouthed back.
"Upstairs." Lio mouthed. I had never seen anybody quiver as violently as he did now.
I shut the door silently, and walked out like I had found nothing. I raced up to the steering wheel, and sure enough, found Aphmau and Shad.
"C'mon, we-we can have a life together, like before." Shad said, and I had my heart jolt.
He was using Aarons voice, and in Aarons body.
"Where's my relic?" He asked, still in Aarons voice.
Silently sprinting up to them, I shoved Shad the Destroyer away from Aphmau, and socked his eye.
"You." He snarled. He clutched my face, and his fingernails burned into my head.  Blood surfaced, and he drew his blood red sword, holding his foot on the side of my head. Dirt sprinkled into my ear as I thought, was that sword always red?
"You are very much like your father, pesky and agrivating. Well, you'll see him soon." Shad growled, and plummeted the weapon.
A mere inch away, he was stopped.
I had the nerve to look up, and found myself at Garroths hand dripping blood onto my neck, and shoved Shads weapon overboard.
"Y-your h-hand." I muttered, looking at the completely covered hand.
"Get. Your. Grimy. Foot. Of. My. Girls. Head." He growled, anger escaping with every word.
"I don't know. Should I?" Shad smiled, pressing harder.
"Arg!" He tackled Shad, and smashed him overboard.
The two fell into the water, and I jumped with them.
I watched through the dirty and bloody water as they sank, Garroths trail of blood getting thinner.
Finally getting close enough, I grabbed Garroths foot, and yanked him up, causing me to fall under.
He began to float up, his blood no longer seeping out.
But... whose-
I turned to see Shad, whose face had a large cut on his forehead to his cheek.
Before he could swipe at me, with his sword now back, I was yanked up, my lungs still burning.
I felt something grasp my ankle, but let go. Swimming up to the surface, I saw Aphmau, who was crying.
"A-aph? Are you okay?" I asked, trying to wipe away the tears.
"Aaron." She wheezed, crying more.
"Let's get back on the boat." I said, gently pulling her to the shore.
"Where's Garroth?" I asked, wondering where he was.
"He's looking for Alina. And Lilith and Leona and Lio." Aph whimpered, and turned to the water.
"That wasn't Aaron." I said, petting her arm.
"I-I know. Just... to know he's not at peace." She cried a bit more, and I wrapped her in a hug.
"I know what your going through." I said, squeezing her tighter.
"Huh?" She sniffed.
"X-Xander... he was being controlled." I said, remembering Aph wasn't in the nether.
"Wh-what? H-he was... being controlled?"
"Y-yeah.  A bad spirit, I think Zane summoned, inhabited his body." I began to cry now, thinking of how he knew that he was doing these things, and let Zane kill his family.
"And I know he's not at peace." I cried, and  thought of my recent dreams. Dom, and Xander. And Laurance. He-hes in danger. And I couldn't bring myself to tell someone. He said not to, or he'd come for Alina and Lilith.
We held eachother, and cried into each other's shoulders.
"L-lets go get the guys." I said.
"Leona smelled him coming, and hid with the girls and Lio. I don't know where they went." Aphmau sniffled.
"Let's go. I know where they are." I said.
I walked to Liochant's bed, and pulled up the door, light flooding in.
"Loki!" Lilith giggled.
"Ay, kiddos!" I greeted the girls.
"Loki, where's Shad?" Leona asked, still holding Alina.
"He's back in the Nether." I said, a flash of Laurance's cries echoing in my ears.
"Okay. It's safe to go." Leona stood up, and handed Aphmau Lilith.
"My baby." She said, hugging Lilith tightly.
Liochant handed her Alina, and they did a group hug.
"Hide and seek was fun!" Alina exclaimed.
"Yep, sure was for us as well." Aphmau said sarcastically.
"Let's play again!" Lilith said.
"NO!" Leona, Lio, Aphmau and I said.
"Aw." The girls said.
"Cmon. I'll by you cake." Leona said, taking the girls and Liochant.
"Okay. Do you know where Katelyn is?" I asked.
"Somewhere with Garroth."
"Kay. Imma find em, and give em cake."
"They'd like that, especially Katelyn." Aph giggled.
"You're gonna help. Cmon." We walked out, and found the two on the deck, Katelyn wrapping Garroths wound.
"Hey." She said, not looking up from his hand.
"I can wrap my own wound,Irene forbid it." Garroth said, rolling his eyes.
"No. You are a baby man." I teased.
"Am not!" He shouted, stomping his foot, playing along.
"Yep, now go take your nap." I said, pointing to the room.
"Nawp. I'm a big boy now." He stuck out his tounge.
Katelyn walked away, grabbing Aph with her. As soon as they were gone, I walked down up to him. He had a tiny bit of blood coming onto his forehead, identical to the Irene incident. I touched my cheek, and he pulled my hand away.
"Please...no." He said, looking to the floor.
"Garroth,  i need to tell you something very important." I said, ignoring Doms threat.
"Remember the spirit from the Nether?"
"Yeah? He's gone." Garroth said, looking up.
"No. He's not."
"Y-you killed him." He said, smiling nervously.
"No. You killed him, which means he's still there. I needed to kill him, because I'm related to Xander, the body he inhabited."
"Oh no. Do we have to go to the Nether." He said, slapping his face.
"No. Well, yes, if we want to save Laurance." I said.
"What does he have to do with this?" Garroths voice raised.
"He's Doms next target."
