Lokis POV

"Oh. I'm here." I said flatly. The void was nothing special, just a black hole of emptiness.
"Have you been well?" A woman's voice asked.
"Gee, I dunno. My boyfriend might die." I said, and I heard my voice crack.
"Loki, why do you think I brought you here?"
"Does it have to do with Aphmau? That's what it's mainly been, that other than my dad."
"No. I have brought you here to see if you wanted a second chance."
"From what?" I coughed.
"Levin." She said, and an image rippled in front of me.
He wasn't there. But there was Aph, Laurence, Garroth, Dante, Malachi, and me. There was Zoey, and there was two elves I couldn't name. Lilith and Alina stood, and didn't understand. Right now, I didn't either. Until Malachi stepped back, revealing they were all around a grave.
Levin Pheonix it read.
Died at 18.
Cause of a death potion
"NO!" I screamed, although I knew it already from what he had said the other day.
"So, you would like a chance?" She asked, and the scene dissapeared.
"MORE THAN ANYTHING!" I pleaded, still shaken up.
"Alright. Tell your father, this is my dept repayed." The void gets lighter and lighter, until I am sitting upright rigid, with Katelyn next to me.
"Loki?"
"How long?" I whimpered, hoping she would answer.
"The longest I can delay it is 48 hours. Or, two days, as you humans would say."
"Katelyn, I need to save Levin. Gene used a death potion on him."
"Loki, if it's been more than 48 ho-"
"Kate, please. There's still time."
"How?" I asked, and Katelyn tilted her head in amusement.
"A witch named Lucinda should know. She is in Pheonix Drop currently."
"Kate, tell please cover for me. I need to get to Lucinda."
"Loki I-"
"Thanks!" I ran out the door, and in the direction of Pheonix Drop. I was 'racing' as I called my speedy run, to Pheonix Drop, urgent for Lucinda. By a half hour or so, I saw the colorful Plaza, with Dante and Kenmur in the middle.
"Hey Dante, have you seen Lu-"
"Loki! I can't talk now, I need to go get Emmalyn with Kenmur!"
"Wait, what happened to Emmie?"
"She was taken by Zane." Kenmur grumbled.
My chest rose and fell quicker and quicker, and my heart pounced out of its chest.
"Z-Z-ZANE? ZANE IS ALIVE?" I shuddered, my eyes maybe as big as Dantes house.
"He's a shadow knight, and he has Emmalyn." Dante said.
Forgetting about Levin, remembering my other friend." I'm coming." I said, holding my machete I retrieved from Katelyn after coming back.
"Loki,  if you got-"
"Dante, Emmie's a close friend. She's always been so... nice..."
"Loki, if you got hurt, Levin and Garroth would have my head."
"I wouldn't let them."
"Loki, I dunno."
"Dante, I'm coming, and that's settled."
He didn't put up a fight, and we started running to the village they were tracked to. Kenmur wasn't as in shape as me and Dante, so he was always behind us. When we did get there, what I feared most lay in front of me. The village was in flames, and everyone was dead, or it seemed like that.
"He's here." Dante said, starting into the flaming village.
"Cmon, Loki." Kenmur said, and I just stared. It made me think of my sister's last day, in falconclaw.
"Coming." I said, and snapped back into life. Zane was going to pay.
The village was all dead. It was in ruins. We walked around the ruins, until spotting Zane and Emmalyn, with a kid under Zane's sword.
"ZANE! LEAVE THE KID OUT OF THIS!" I said, anger filling up my body, taking smoothe, strong steps to the Shadow Knight.
"Oh, it's you. Just a warning, I can kill this kid in an instant." He gestured to the crying child, and just him being near the two  innocents made me boil.
"Zane, return Emmie and leave the kid alone!" Dante ordered, and took a step.
"Why should I? You can't tell me what to do." He smashed the running Dante into a tree behind him.
"Dante!" I screamed. Kenmur stared at Emmalyn, who stared back.
"Scene look familiar, ay Loki?" Zane smiled at my pure horror, my anger, my friends that were hurt.
"I. Hate. You." I screamed, tears shaking my jerking body.
"Now, let's not make this about you. I see you have come for Emmalyn."
"Let the child go." I said, staring at the crying boy.
"Fine." Zane strangley obeyed, and pushed the boy to me. I caught him, and stood as a shield in front of him.
"So, who's next?" Zane asked, looking at Dante.
"I'd like to say you." A voice echoed from on top of a building. A woman with orange hair and red eyes stood on top of the house.
"Hey, Lucinda!" I waved to my friend.
"Oh, hey Loki." She gestured back to me, and turned to Zane.
"It will all be alright." I whispered to the child behind me.
"O-o-okay." He said between sobs.
"GIVE us Emmie!" Kenmur began to run to Zane, and he just drew his sword, and Kenmur didn't stop, and I saw everything coming.
"NO!" I jumped into the blade, it's burning feeling cutting through my insides, and I watched Kenmur step back from me, doubled over and half dead.
"Loki!" Lucinda, Dante, Kenmur, and Emmalyn shouted.
"Hello, brother. I see you've been abusing our neice." Someone else's voice echoed from the trees. He sounded familiar, but I was so close to death I felt like throwing up.
"You." Zane spat, turning up to the trees.
"Yes, a grand introduction." Vylad jumped down, and he was a Shadow Knight. I may have been hallucinating, but he was riding a horse with Garroths head on the front.
"So, have you killed her? If you have, I'm sure our dear brother or dear friend Aphmau would like to hear." Vylad said, making his way to me.
"You." He ran into Vylad, and they were locked in deadly combat.
"LOKI!" three more voices said.
"Is that Aphmau?" I said, trying to stand up. I fell violently to the ground.
"Yes, Loki I'm here." She swiftly moved to me, followed with Garroth and Katelyn.
"I couldn't cover anymore." Katelyn said, staring at my chest.
"Why would you leave without telling me?!" Garroth held my hand, and looked into my eyes, a bit too scared to be angry.
"To be honest, I didn't think it would end like this."
"Hold on." Aphmau tried hard to heal me, but it was gone. So this is Death. I thought quietly. It's a little less painful than I thought.
Tears were down everyone except Zane and my cheeks. I was too drained to cry. Plus, it wouldn't help.
Consider this, my debt payed forever. The female voice said, and the burning empty feeling began to lift. I watched my friends step back, and my chest close up, back to normal. Like when we came.
"Wha.... how?" Zane said in astonishment, looking away from Vylad.
"I don't know." Nevertheless, I grabbed my machete, and took steps to Zane, who was currently occupied with Vylad.
"Alright, try and end me." Zane smiled, and Vylad was suddenly back fifty feet. Zane chucked his sword forward, and it landed square in the chest of a dead man.
"I...I..." I was terrified. He could kill everyone, right here, right now.
"F-fine." I took the shaking machete and took another shaking step to Zane. What am I feeling?!
"Oh ho ho! Looky what we have here! Just a pathetic girl who's SCARED?! Whoo, I havent had a belly laugh like that in years!"
Katelyn and Garroth growled, and the only thing holding them back was Aphmau, who herself was trying not to end Zane.
"Cmon. Just stab my chest." He opened his arms, and nothing was holding me back. Nobody was in danger. I could rid the world of him. He would FINALLY be gone forever.
I took a strike at him, and his sword was immediately back in his hands.
"Nope!" Vylad tackled Zane, and the two were immediately back on the ground.
"Emmie, let's go!" Kenmur grabbed Emmalyn's hand, and they rejoined with the group. Realizing Dante was still hurt, I took my chance to help him.
"Dante!" I shouted, jumping to his side. He was consious, but his ribs were broken.
"Lo...ki..." He groaned, and his cheeks were shiny. "You...ll be... fine..." He closed his eyes, and I dragged him to Aphmau and her friends.
"Help him!" I snapped, and went to assist Vylad, who was pinned under Zane.
"Ack!" Zane shouted as I tackled him, rolling onto the singed grass.
"You'll do anything to stay." I growled, trying to keep him pinned. My face was on the burnt grass, and I felt a tearing sound, I think it was my shirt.
"So, you've had encounters with Zenix?" Zane smiled at my large scar.
"Agh!" I spat, looking to my friends. I was pinned under zane, and Katelyn would have helped me, except she was in a ring of fire, just like all my other friends and the little boy. Me and  Zane were the only ones outside it.
"UGH! GARROTH, HELP ME GET OVER IT!" Katelyn shouted, at the edge of the ring.
"You can't fight all her battles, Katelyn." Zane said, tracing my scar with his sword, very, very slowly. I winced when he cut deeper.
"I'M GOING TO KILL YOU, ZANE!" Garroth yelled, trying to find a way around all the fire.
"Uh, such barbarians." Zane rolled his eyes, and cut deeper, leaving me gasping for breath. He stood up , and extinguished the ring of fire, basically releasing the wild Garroth and absolutely insane Katelyn.
Katelyn kicked him back, and I tried to stand. When I fell, Garroth ran to my aid.
"Loki!" He stared at my scar, and didn't move.
Everything seemed to stop. I stood, and succeeded.
"We...must go..." I said, leaning on him for support. Vylad came running, and assisted as well.
Kenmur ran up to zane, who pinned Katelyn under his body.
"This is for Emmie!" Kenmur ran up to Zane, and jumped on his back. Standing up, Zane whipped around on Kenmur, and the horrible, wet gooey, watery sound of a sword slicing through a body echoed throughout the entire feild.
"KENMUR!" Emmalyn shouted, dropping to her knees. Zane turned back to everyone, and shouted "Who's next?!" Everyone stood in astonishment, even Dante.
"D-did that just happen?" I asked, looking from Garroth to Vylad.
"If you don't come forward, I'll pick..."
"3..."
I felt even weaker, staring at Kenmurs dead body.
"2..."
The little boy cried harder, and ran behind Aphmau, who was now staring in shock.
"I pick..."
Zane turned around, and continued doing so until stopping at someone.
Me.
"You three will be fun." Zane started towards us, and Vylad ran forward, his sword ready to stab Zane.
"Pass." He kicked Vylad into Aphmau, who caught him. They were too far to stop anything.
I stood up from Garroth, and just waited for Zane to come. Garroth stared in horror at the body of Kenmur.
"Hmmm, who to kill first. How about... my dear brother." Zane started to Garroth, and I jumped in between. "Irene, I can't get this over with without SOMEONE trying to stop me?" Zane shoved me into the ground, and planted his foot on me.
Garroth mumbled something I couldn't hear.
"What?" Zane smiled, pushing harder to me.
"Get your fucking slutty foot off her." He glared daggers into Zane's eyes.
"Nope, I'm good, thanks."
"Fine, you don't need to listen." Garroth stepped dangerously close to Zane, and drew his sword, it piercing Zane's stomach.
"So. I've seen you beat me." Zane looked at the sword in his stomach, to his brother who was farther away from him.
"Alright, since I'm not wanted, you can have your fun." Zane dissapeared, and I felt a heavier presense then Zane's foot.
It was the death of our friend, and every resident in the village.
