Celeste's POV :

Surprisingly, black didn't so anything to me this morning in transfiguration, apart from his usual snarky comments and lack of work, he was smart, but never did anything.

He actually didn't do anything to me all day. Or so I thought.

I was walking with Lucy, back to the griffindor dorm room, but as soon as I did, I felt my whole body get covered by water.

But not any water, lake water. I opened my eyes to see black holding a bucket and wore his signature smirk.

" Black! You imbecile! " I yelled, he started laughing along with the marauders, " You started the war! Not me!" he managed to say in between laughs. My hair was changing in between orange and dark blond.

" Watch you back black!" I yelled on my way to the girls dorm to take a shower.

" are you really doing this? " lily asked ask got my wand ready. " yep."

Black sat on the dining table with his friends, the desert were showing up and, as I expected, wanted the cake.

This prank wasn't really that hard to pull off. All I needed to do was,

" wingardium leviosa."

In a few seconds, Blacks ' irresistible ' face was covered in chocolate cake and, let me say, he looked hilarious.

"Onyx!" he yelled, " Payback." I replied.

We've been at Hogwarts for half a year and Black and I still have our war going on. I'm starting to hate him less, he is actually funny. We do have playful arguments and honestly, I don't mind him.

James has started to flirt with lily, but he picks on Severus all the bloody time, severus and I are now acquaintances, so he didnt hate me. But he hates the marauders.

"Onyx! ONYX!" I heard someone chanting my name in the common room and guess who's it was!

" What do you want black?" I asked, I didn't want an interruption since I was doing my potions homework.

" I need help with my options homework!" I looked at him as he set his stuff down opposite me. " ask Remus."

" he told me to ask you and said he's busy." I huffed and looked at him, he was smiling in victory.

After helping black with his homework, which took around 30 minutes, I went to find lily.

I found her talking to Severus in the study hall, I didn't want to interrupt them so I sat with Molly and Alice.

" Hey Celeste." The both greeted me happily. Molly had wild ginger hair, that made her bright brown eyes pop out. And Alice with her cute, short blonde hair ( in the books her hair was apparently blonde.)

Turns out, they are actually really fun to be around, but I missed lily already.

" I heard that octupuses-" Molly started, but was cut of by Alice, " it's octopi." she corrected.

" No it's not."
"yes it is."
"well why?"
"I don't know, it just is."
" No it's not, that's just wierd."
"Celeste, is it octopi or octopuses?" Alice asked me.

" Octopuses."
"see!"
"it's not!"
" when you see allot of horses, you don't go ' look at the horsi' do you?"

"No but -"

"what are you arguing about?" Lily's sweet voice interrupted.

" is it octopuses or octopi?!" Alice asked.

" Octopi, obviously. "

"SEE!" Alice yelled, "Celeste, come on, I'm bored. " lily complained.

And so, lily had dragged me outside and sat me on one of the benches. " I am going to murder Potter." she said, and That's all I needed to know.

"do you want me to prank him again?" I asked, remembering how funny she found it last time.

And the time before that.

We were in the common room and we all decided to play truth or dare before bed. 'we' being the marauders, Arthur, Molly, Alice, Frank, Marlene and I. Potter was being grouchy because his hair was going to be green for a week.

" Frank! Truth or dare?" I yelled, catching him off guard. " uh dare-No, truth."

"alright, if You were gay-"
"oh no.."
" who would you date in the room?"

"I, ugh, maybe- no. I would pick Arthur ONLY because he's my best friend. DON'T GET ANY IDEAS CELESTE!"

The room filled with snorts and snickers.

" MARLENE!" Alice yelled.

"truth or dare."

"Dare." she said confidently. " I dare you lick one of the person's next to you's foot."

That happened to be me, Celeste Aurora Onyx or potters.

"CELESTE! I'd rather  you foot than some filthy boys one."

"HEY!" Potter yelled, acting hurt. " sorry, but at least I know Celeste  showers twice a day. "

So, her tongue slid from the bottom of my foot to the very top. Lots of people were saying 'ewwww!' or 'Yuck', unless they weren't laughing at my Rick ticklishness and my constant squirming.

"ONYX, your turn!!" Potter yelled whole I was rolling my sock on and putting on my shoe. There was no way I'm letting him dare me, especially after last time when I had gotten a detention for sneaking or to the kitchen to get James food.

"TRUTH, I. Pick. Truth."

"Ugh, remussss what do I truth her. I don't know any."
" I don't know, what is your worst fear."
He said, paying more attention to his book than to us.

" losing someone I love." I said, thinking about my words carefully. " oh my god onyx, that's so.. Sappy." James commented.

" Trust me, it's a lot worse when it happens to you." I said quietly, remembering the sight of my parent on their hospital beds on Saint mongos. How they stopped breathing and the nurses told e they were dead, me being only 6 at the time didn't understand.

Aunt Lisa had to drag me away and told e they were gone. As a kid, knowing the two role models in your life was horrific, I didn't know what to do, I locked myself up in my room and pretended that they were still alive, just playing hide and seek. If I had lost my aunt or brother, I'd be.. Gone. Just gone.

Realizing that everyone was looking at me with questioning faces, only a few people were looking at me sympathetically, realizing what I had meant. But even during griffindor knew not to ask after they saw my hair change to blue.

" Moving on, Potter! Truth or dare." I started.

" truth?" 
"do you fancy lily?"

"Celeste!" Lily yelled and hit me with the cushion.
