Celeste's POV :

Lily and I had finished our homework after all our classes were done, we both found it quite easy so we had a lot of spare time.

Looking out of the window I watched the forbidden forest, I've always wondered what was in it, but with the rumors of beasts in there, nobody dared. It was called the forbidden forest for a reason.

"what are you staring at?" lily asked, following my gaze. " yeah, pretty scary. There are wild creatures in there."

"there are wild creatures in every forest lily." I told her her. " well these are magical creatures, they are more dangerous."

"I'm not scared of it, maybe if I somehow get in there and see what's in there for myself, I would be. But now I am really not scared of it."

"what are you scared of?" she asked, in which I replied with a shrug. " I don't know until I face them, I've never really thought about it."

"what about you? " I asked. She just shook her head." it's really embarrassing, I don't want to say it. "

" Alright."

We've been at Hogwarts for a month only And i think I'm just going to collapse and die.

We have homework almost everyday, and transfiguration homework is the hardest. Because my PARTNER doesn't help at all.

So here I was, trying to get black to take notes down about transfigurating spells, in the library.

" alright black, can you at least try help me with our homework."

" fine, what do you want me to do?" he said in a calm voice as if nothing was going on. My hair was orange and people walking past were giving me wierd looks.

"Turn to page 246 and take notes. Then We'll see how to put that into an essay."

15 minutes went by and he passed me the notes, him being Sirius black, I thought they were going to be short, messy, careless notes. So I was quite surprised to see that he had done them really well.

He smirked at my reaction, knowing I had been caught off guard.  " Not bad." I commented, he leaned back in his chair and relaxed. " But we're not done." I heard him groan in frustration.

" stop complaining, if you hadn't tried to work me up then we would if been out of the library by now."

"who said I was trying to work you up?" he asked innocently, I glared at him, but I didn't let my hair change color.

" whatever. "
"common love, I know you love me. I'm irresistible."

I rolled my eyes at him and continued to finish this essay. " I need to ask professor for a new partner." I mumbled.

"hey!"

There was a storm out side and I was trying to sleep. Alice and Molly were fast asleep, and I was trying to go into dreamland, but the loud pattering against the window pains, sound of the wind, thunder and lightning struck every five seconds, the storm was keeping me awake. I saw lily shuffling in bed, she sat up suddenly and covered her ears and was breathing heavily.
Everytime that lightning struck, lily would jump and whimper.

She was afraid of lightning, like my brother, Theo, was. I cast the imperturbable charm on the room. Making sure the room was sound proof. No noise from outside it would come in, and no noise from inside would be heard. Yes, a first year shouldn't know how to cast a charm like that, but I read more advanced books.

Lily immediately removed her hands from her ears and looked at me, " you did that" I nodded " thank you! I'm sorry, I'm scared of lightning."

"don't worry, I was too. "

"Onyx!"
Somebody yelled, I turned around and faced malfoy, who was covered in pink slime.

"what do you want malfoy?" I asked, stiffling a laugh. I was the one who did that to him, because I heard him calling lily a mudblood on my way to class.

"You did this!" he yelled, students were laughing at him now. It was a funny sight.

" You have no proof." I said and before I could turn, he pointed his wand at my neck.

" do you really think that's such a good idea? "

There was a crowd gathering, mostly to catch a glimpse if malfoys state, and to see if he'd actually do anything.

" F-Flipendo." He yelled , Sending me backwards. I heard people gasp and lily yell by name and how immature I was being.

"Everte Statum!" I yelled, sending the boy covered in slime, flying back. I had done more damage than him. That will teach him to challenge me and mess with lily.

Before Lucius malfoy could send another spell or hex at me, I did it first,

"Locomortor Wibbly!"  I yelled, and he fell to the ground, the crowd was excited and eager to see the duel that was going on, but unfortunately, professor mcgonall stopped us.

"You Two! My office, NOW!" she yelled, the students went back to their business, and lily scolded me from afar.

I met lily in the dorm, after professor mcGonagall ranting about behaviour issues.

She was sitting on the sofa with Molly and Alice. The marauders were on the other couches. Oh yeah, did I not say?That's what Petigrew, Remus, Black and potter call themselves, I don't mind Remus.

"WHAT HAPPENED?! WHY WERE YOU FIGHTING MALFOY??" lily yelled, she ran up to me and hit me with a book.

I took my time and sat next to Molly.
"More importantly, how did you get that pink stuff all over him?" Black asked, rather amused by the situation.

" Malfoy deserved it, he called you a bloody mudblood! And he started the fight!." I yelled and crossed my arms immaturely.

" what if you got hurt? " she asked angrily.

"  I didnt."

" what if you did?"

"but I didn't."
" And now, I have a week's detention with filch."

" good luck with that, Sirius, you've got a detention buddy!." Potter yelled teasingly, but shut up when I had glared at him.

" Celeste." lily said, " your hair is red, calm down."
