James's POV :

"Evans , I need help with my—"

"no." she said, continuing to read from her book.

"but I didn't even—"

"No means no Potter." she told me and rolled her bright emerald eyes and tucked some of her blood-red hair behind her ear.

"Lily I need help with my potions homework!" Onyx rushed over to Lily in a hurry.

"We have potions in an hour!" she added and lily rolled her eyes at her best friend.

"Fine." she said and I opened my mouth to say something.

"looks like you're gonna get detention Potter, tell me what happens to malfoy!" she yelled and dragged lily off to the library.

I signed loudly and went up to Sirius. "girls are so stubborn!"

"huh?" he asked with a mouth full of chocolate, Remus rolled his eyes next to him and Peter was staring at his Red rememberall. 

"You're disgusting Sirius... Now give me some!" Remus said quickly, snatching one of the chocolate frogs.

"oi!" he yelled and Peter laughed.

"Is this about lily?" Remus asked and I slouched.

"No, it's about me getting a detention! Again!"

"I have a detention today too."

"so do I."

"me three." Peter added, "we want to see malfoy prank take place remember?" Peter told me and realization hit me.

"oh yeah, it's gonna be awesome."

Lily's POV :

"there, and you're finished." I told Celeste.

"thanks Lils." she thanked before packing up really quickly.

"why are you rushing?" I asked her.

"follow me." she told me with a smirk and she grabbed my arm before running.

"I can't miss this!" she yelled in our way to potions.

"You can't miss class?"

"pffft, no. I can't miss that." she said coming to a halt and pointing towards a tall ravenclaw, reading.

"wha- Oh my god! Celeste!" I yelled at my idiot best friend who was smiling at the sight of blue confetti and glitter fall onto him. 

"he called Molly ugly, you know I hate it when someone picks on my friends." she told me and I rolled my eyes.

"you're so kind." I said sarcastically.

She was right though, when someone says something about her friends she'll definitely doing something to them. And who would pick on Molly? She was the sweetest human being on earth.  And she was not ugly. 

"I know" she replied and walked of to potions, her long, blonde hair bouncing along her back as she walked.

"idiot " I muttered and followed her.

Sirius's POV :

"McKinnon." I said, kicking her the Ginger's chair.

"what?!" she whisper yelled so professor slughorn wouldn't hear.

" Why is my potion blue?" I asked her and her eyes widened when she saw mine and James's potion.

"ITS BUBBLING!" she yelled, and professor slughorn rushed over to us and Marlene had drawn all attention to us.

The potion exploded and I heard a few chuckles around the room, I recognised some being from Celeste and lily, I glared at them and Celeste motioned me to look at my hair.

Lily threw me a mirror and I saw my hair standing up because of the explosion.

The people around the portion had ducked but I hadn't, so my face was also covered in soot. And it hurt.

"go to the hospital wing Sirius."  he signed and he cleaned our desk with magic.

"Unfortunately, I'll have to take ten points from griffindor —" he was cut of by a loud crash.

Malfoy had dropped his potion and it was now bubbling on the floor.

"and ten points from slytherin." professor slughorn sighed and walked over to clean the option using a cleaning spell.

"Sirius, of to the hospital wing."

He ordered and left the class to go to the hospital wing.

" Mr Malfoy? What are you doing in detention?" Professor McGonagall asked.

James, Remus, Peter and I were trying not to laugh as Malfoy stood confused.

"but you gave me a detention!" he argued.

"I don't recall. Now stop joking around!" she hissed and he widened his eyes.

"But you did! I remember! I was out after curfew and you gave me a detention yesterday!"

"You were out after curfew?" she asked slowly and rolled her eyes.

"I'm afraid you've been tricked Mr Malfoy, but take a seat, being out after hours is unacceptable."

It took a long time but Malfoy turned and glared at us.

"you—"

"No speaking!"
