A/N WARNING, small amount of corperal punishment in this chapter, it is non- abusive and will not harm Harry, just embarress him a bit!! I'm sorry if this offends anyone, but Snape wasnt to discorage Harry from doing something dangerous like that again, he could have been eaten by a dragon, and Snape doesn't want to see Harry hurt. If this does offend you, just skip the chapter, you won't miss anything except a detention and a fair amount of sarcasm!

Saturday dawned sunny and bright, which was a shame really, as all of Harrys day would be spent in the dungeons. Harry trudged down to Snape's classroom and knocked on the door.

"Enter. Ah, Mr Potter, you'l find a stack of cauldrons in the corner, start cleaning the immediately."

Harry began cleaning them out, using non-verbal, wandless magic as he did so, making the task easier thann imagined, and snape was outstanded to see the cauldrons so clean, as most of them had been rusted at the time.

"Well, Mr Potter, it seems tha even as an heir you are able to scrub up cauldrons. I wonder if Hogwarts has any positions going for house elves?"

Harry sighed at Snapes sarcasm, he was used to it by now, having known the man so long, butut was still frustrating when it was directed at him.

Snape led Harry through to his personal quarters.

"Sit."

Harry obeyed.

"Now tell me, Mr Potter, what could have gone wrong with your dunderhead stunt running to Romania and creating your own wand?"

"I could have been eaten by a dragon, or I could have fallen from the tree, trampled by a dragon, toasted by a dragon, the wand making process could have killed me if it had exploded, I coould have been discovered by my mum..."

"Enough. So you see that it was foolish and put your life unnecessarily on the line.

"Yessir."

"Remove your outer robe and come here."

Harry sighed, knowing what was coming next, he walked over to Snape, looking at the floor. Snape bent him over his knee and delivered ten stinging swats, which made Harry cry, but more from the thought of disapointing the man than the actual swats.

"Do not be so foolhardy again, or you may find yourself repeating this lesson."

Harry nodded and righted his robes.

"Another half hour in the corner may not go amiss." Snape hinted. "However, I will waive tomorrows detention as you need a weekend."

"Thanks sir." Harry muttered, facing a wall which was now bwcoming very familiar.
