Our Last Date

Cody's POV
The night was dark yet peaceful, creepy yet beautiful, painful yet painful. Maxx was twitching a little in his sleep with a mix of confusion, disgust, and pissed off. Mateo was curled up just above his head. Resting on a few strands of his hair looking at me with a scary glare in his eyes. I rubbed his head and he jumped up and patted over into my lap. I slowly closed my eyes letting thoughts come and go, when I felt a warm hand on my thigh. I looked down at Maxx who moved closer to me and hugged my leg causing my face to heat up. I found panic and fear drawn on his face only telling me he was not having the best dream. I lightly shook him trying to wake him which failed. After a few moments he finally sprung up screaming which turned into heavy panting. "Are you okay?" I asked him and Mateo jumped onto Maxx's thigh struggling to stay on it. "Yeah, yeah, as long as you're here with me," He lied his head on my shoulder wrapping me into a hug. "About that... Maxx.." "Is everything okay in here?" Zach asked through the slightly opened door. "Dan and I heard the scream, checking if everything's alright," Maxx nodded. "Yeah, everything's fine,"

In the morning
Everyone had went back to bed after a few minutes of small talk and now it was just Mateo and I. The sun started peering through the window, peach shining in. Maxx started groaning and eventually opened his eyes. "Hey," Maxx groaned in response and curled up under the covers, it was extremely adorable. "It's cold," He whispered through his chattering teeth. "Close the window," I got up causing Mateo to jump off the bed and run to his crate. I closed the window and turned back to Maxx who had his face under a pillow and blankets over him and the pillow. I lied down next to him pulling the covers over us and cuddling into him trying to provide him with body heat. He sighed taking a deep breath and curling up into me. He was so precious and I feel so bad for not telling him. I really should but it might hurt him but this might hurt him even more. It's all too confusing. I eventually felt hands on my arms, I looked down at Maxx who was wrapping my arms around him. "You're warm," "It's supposed to be really hot today, want go to the water park in town?" Maxx slowly looked up at me, then jumped up and squeezed. "YES! I never been!" "Just us or do you want the bo–" "Dan was going to bring Zelda to the dog park and I was gonna join him and I think we'll be out most of the day," Zach explained, interrupting me. "That's your answer," Maxx responded. I kissed his cheek bone. "Well Maxx and I are gonna be out all day maybe the occasional stop here," Zach nodded. "Later," Zach and Dan left with Zelda. "Do you want to eat out or eat here?" "Make me something," He quickly replied. I smiled slightly and got up to go make him something. I was still in my sleepwear which just consisted of pajama pants it gets hot as hell in here. I thought long and hard on something that he would love then an idea was thrown in my face.

After a few long moments I finally came up with the master piece.

"Maxxy!" I softly hollered. He walked down excited yet casually. "Here you go," He looked at it questionably then up to me, then clung onto me. "It looks so cool! How did you make this?" He asked eating a bit of the egg. "Thank you!" He chirped. I chuckled and kissed his cheek.

After a few hours
It was finally time to go out to the water park and Maxx was taking forever to get ready. "Maxx! Hurry up!" I said impatiently. "Coming! Sorry!" "I swear some days you're a straight up white girl," "Maybe I am," He looked at me with a smirk and I shot it back. "Are you ready?" I asked confirming that he wasn't gonna run up to his saying he forgot something. "Oh no, I left my phone upstairs!" I rolled my eyes. "I'm kidding! You take jokes to literal," I rolled my eyes again and we finally left the house.

At the water park
There were huge slides, extremely high diving boards and humongous pools. Maxx grabbed my wrist and pulled me over to a giant slide. "I hate you," I groaned. "I love you too!" He chirped in response. I sighed and we joined the surprisingly short line. "You go first," He said pulling me in front of him. "Why? You're scared now?" "No, I just want to see your reaction on this," I rolled my eyes with a smile and chuckle. "Yeah right, okay," He pushed me down the slide when it was my turn to go down. I jumped into the pool with a splash and before I knew it Maxx was facing his left a little crouched, kinda like a suffer and at the right time he completely stood up and jumped onto my back, demolishing me into a hug that slowly took place under the water. We swam up at sat down on the edge of a heated pool with our feet in the water. I slithered my arm around his waist. He jumped a bit from the sudden touch but leaned in a while later. Fags and Faggots got thrown back and forth but we never cared about how strangers spoke or acted around us. Their problem they're so homophobic, their problem they misread the bible. I slowly pushed Maxx's into the water and jumped in after him. We splashed each other, water gun fights and, and straight up childish bull.

"What are we gonna do now?" Maxx asked looking through the closed gates of the park. "Take you to paradise," I grabbed Maxx's wrist and took him to the car.

Hey it's been like two months but I finally posted again and sorry it took so long I was really busy with school sh*t cause I almost failed the semester and I had other sh*t to do that resulted in me not writing sorry about that. Also I been thinking about creating a random oneshot thing for like reader x Cody/Maxx/Zach/Dan and more Carziger and Zaxx and stuff like that for when I don't work on this.
