~ Chapter 31: Drummer Boy

"What do you think about this one?" Juliet asked turning around to show the young girl a peach colored dress that was short probably made to go up to the mid thigh with a v shaped neckline. "It's really pretty and probably will fit you nicely" she smiled.

"Maybe we should keep looking, since this is like the first store we've gone to" Andrea suggested not being able to hold back a yawn. Juliet and Andrea had woken up at 8 in the morning to get ready to go shopping for Andrea's dress to wear on prom. She had sleep tonight late due to her being on Skype with Emily. She ready didn't wanted to since she was practically the queen of procrastination; doing things until the last minute, but she figured she might as well get it over with.

Juliet nodded "You're right, I'll hold onto this one while we look around the store" she said putting the dress over her left arm before walking around the store looking at the countless of dresses that littered the store while Andrea followed.

Glancing at the srore she saw a group of girls that walked into the store she recognized from school. She never really talked to them but they reminded her of Emily and how they were supposed to be shopping for their dress together. Now, Juliet was a great person to go shopping with but she couldn't help feel slight sad that she wouldn't be able to be with her best friend at prom.

"So who are you going to go to prom with?" Juliet asked snapping Andrea out of her tain of thought.

"Oh uh, CC offered to go with me" Andrea said trying to sound as casual as possible about CC taking her.

Juliet abruptly stopped in her tracks wide eyed truning to the younger girl. "CC is you're date?" She asked somewhat surprised.

Andrea only shrugged looking through the dresses that were in front of her; avoiding eye contact. "W-well he's just taking me to prom and stay with me for a while, it's not like I could go with my ex" she scoffed a small smile played on her lips remember how CC reacted when she had gone to the park with Xaver as she shook her head at the memory.

"That's true" Juliet muttered nodding her head to her response. "Sorry I was just kinda suprissed, you two went from practically being enemies to friends" She laughed lightly "You know it's kinda cute"

"It's okay don't worry I'm kinda suprissed too but it's not cute, we're just friends" Andrea said before walking once more trying to not let the nervous look on her face. What if she found out and is trying to get me to admit it? The question ran through her mind as she bit her lip.

"What's cute is you and Andy getting engaged" she said changing the subject.

And it worked as a big smile formed onto Juliet's lips continuing to walking with Andrea around the store. "I'm over the moon that he proposed, I just can't belive he's my fiancé" she said earing a small chuckle from the other girl.

"Well it was about time he did, I'm really happy for you two" Andrea said smiling glad that her brother had finally found his other half.

By the time both girls had found the perfect dress
-in Juliet's opinion.They had gone to evey store in the mall and managed to buy two extra dresses, 3 pair of shoes, makeup and extra clothes and accessories. Before they headed home they decided to go to the food court and order some foosld since they haven't ate since they left.

So when they were ordering their food, the cashier that hand plugs, short dark hair and a cuple of tattos on his arms took their order but not without giving flirtatious glances at Andrea and even asked if she was single wjen they went to pick uo their food but she quickly said she had a boyfriend before taking her tray of food and going over to a table for both of Juliet and herself.

"Girl, why did you just blew that guy off?" Juliet asked saying a seat at the round table.

"Cause, he-..." Andrea struggled to come up with something to say other than 'Cause I actually do have a boyfriend and it's my brother's best friend'

"he's just not my type"

"Then who is your type" the other woman asked with slight amusement.

Andrea only shugged looking down at her food "I don't know, I guess a guy who's sweet, funny, a little wild and that loves someone with imperfections and well just a guy that can be my best friend yet my boyfriend at the same time, y'know" she said with a small chuckle and she felt her chest tighen at the relization she was describing one person in particular

It was her drummer boy with that goofy smile that always makes her feel better.

Juliet smiled nodding "Yeah, I see" she said and took a bite from her food.

After they had finished eating both of them got in the car and headed home. But when they finally arrived Andrea was going straight to CC's room when she was practically dragged to the living room by Ella and Alice since they had wanted to see what Juliet and her had gotten.

But all she could do was think about how much CC had been on her mind the whole time she was at the mall, sure she was afraid of what she was actually feeling for the drummer but that's what kept her wanting more of him. It was almost like she just couldn't stay away or stop the feelings she had for him.

And she loved it.
