Naruto jumped, the sudden sound of his message notifications surprising him. Pausing his video game, the blond boy reached out to pick his phone from the bedside table.

"Ahh! Light is too bright!" He exclaimed, minimising the brightness.

"Oh! It's Kiba. Huh? It's like 12 in the morning. The hell does he want at this time?" Naruto wondered.

Dogbreath :3

-Yo foxface!

Kyubbi

-What do you want Kiba? It's too early to be talking to people. What? Got too lonely? xD

Anyway what I WANTED to talk to you about was this new online MMORPG my friend told me about. Downloaded it this evening and I've been HOOKED!

Naruto's sapphire eyes brightened in curiosity and excitement.

Kyubbi

-Ooooh! Cool dude. What's the name?

Perfect World. It is awesome! Really helps kill time.

Kyubbi.

-Coolio. I'll check out tomorrow! Anyway need to get back to my game. See you tomorrow.

Placing his phone on the bedside, Naruto went back to playing Legend of Zelda. As time went by, he turned to check his bedside alarm.

"Oh shit. It's 3am. Better get some sleep."

Begrudgingly turning off his Nintendo 3DS, Naruto walked towards the washroom, getting ready for bed. Being an avid video game player, it was the usual routine to wake up, go to school, come home, get his work done and then game until tomorrow comes. It was his life and Naruto was content with it.

Not that the blue-eyed boy was antisocial, he just preferred to spend his time alone with his video games. He had his family, two good friends and didn't try to interact with others.

Mostly because nearly half the school didn't like him. Being the bottom of the social and popularity ladder maybe contributed to the problem.

Naruto was content though. No drama, no bullshit to be dragged into, no romantic relationships and their problems...

He was happy and if he was ever depressed, video games were the one thing he turned too during those times.

Nothing else would crack the stability in his life.
