"Oi Sasuke!"
Naruto's loud, cheery voice resonated across the hallways as flurried footsteps ran towards the ebony haired boy. Many pairs of eyes turned and stared as Naruto passed by them, some scowling in annoyance, some sighing and others just ignoring him after a few seconds of staring.
The raven shook his head in fondness and fully turned to face the blond who was now bending over, hands on his knees, panting.
"Dobe... you could have just walked those few metres." Sasuke teased, leaning against his locker, onxy eyes filled with warmth. The blond just stuck out his tongue and grinned afterwards.
"Want to come over to my place and play some video games? Something chill like Mario Kart?" The blond asked excitedly, his big cornflower hued eyes looking up at Sasuke with optimism, pink pouty stretched over to show Naruto's signature sunshine smile while tan cheeks were tinged with a touch of rose due to previous exertion of running.
How could Sasuke refuse with Naruto looking like that?
'Then again you can never refuse him. He's got you wrapped around his finger.' The conscious side of Sasuke's mind chimed in.
The raven nodded, ignoring the aggravating voice in his head.
"Yeah sure. I text you when I'll come over." Sasuke informed before closing his locker and smiling at still grinning blond. Naruto nodded his head in elation and adjusted the bag strap on his shoulder.
"Okay Sasuke!" He exclaimed. He felt a weight on his head and his blue eyes immediately looked up to see Sasuke's hand ruffling his soft golden strands. A rush of warmth bloomed across his whiskered cheeks and he let out a soft laugh. "Stop you're messing the hair." Naruto chuckled. Sasuke smirked before letting go.
"There is literally no difference before and after. Your hair is always messy dobe." The raven teased, fighting to keep a smile off his face when Naruto glared 'menacingly'. The pouty expression on Naruto's face did not help either. Sasuke let out a small laugh.
"Anyway get to class. I'll see you at lunch."
With that he turned around and walked to his classroom, turning his head see Naruto waving him off before turning around and walking in the opposite direction. The raven smiled softly, his eyes filled with adoration as he stopped to see Naruto walking away.
' I really need to tell him. Fuck it... I'll confess today. I can't pretend anymore. And even if he doesn't return it atleast it will be a burden off my shoulders.' Sasuke decided, determination pumping through his veins.
"I'm finally doing it... today."
Timeskip
It was unusual to see the the corner table of the cafeteria full. In the past it was just three boy (2 of which probably contributed to 50% of the noise) but now ever since that faithful day when Sasuke approached the blond's table, steadily the crowd has been growing.
Naruto smiled at the sweet memory as he laid his head on the table. It has been months since then and everyday, his infatuation for Sasuke grew. Every so often he would catch himself just staring at Sasuke, taking in all his features from the blueish black hue of his hair to the way he walked...
The blond felt himself flush as his mind delved further into his thoughts.
'Sasuke... really changed everything for me. I hated waking up and coming to school. To get bullied and beaten on everyday and have mom worry about me. Now, I want to wake up and come to school; just to see him, to be with him.'
