Naruto walked up slowly towards his window, drawing the pale citrus curtains slightly ajar and looked down at the silent streets, watching a figure walk past his house.
That figure being Sasuke.
The raven was walking at a slightly sluggish pace, his posture seemingly straight but on further inspection and the blond being inquisitive with anything to do with Sasuke, noticed that he was slightly hunched.
Naruto sighed, his cerulean eyes going downcast for probably the hundredth time today as he watched Sasuke walk by.
'He seemed so eager to get away from me. The bastard wasn't even looking at me at all!' The blond fumed before his anger deflated.
"He has a crush on someone... Heh, didn't think Sasuke could even like someone in that sense." Naruto laughed, even though a pang of sadness hit right through him. The blond was so zoned out in his head that he didn't notice that Sasuke had turned around to look up at Naruto's window.
The raven slightly squinted his eyes as he felt the feeling of being stared at from a distance. Turning around, he looked at his surrounding but... no one was there.
The streets were empty and silent albeit the sounds of the trees rustling.
Looking up, he glanced at Naruto's residence before realising that it was the blond himself who was staring at him. Onxy eyes scanned Naruto's whiskered face and noticed... how sad the boy looked. Sasuke's heart slightly faltered at the heartbroken look plastered on his face. He felt helpless as he kept on staring at the blond, his body almost moving back towards the house just to be with Naruto again.
"What's up with him? Did... I do something?"
He spent a few seconds looking back at the zoned out, sad boy before coming back to his senses.
'The fuck am I doing? I have to get going.' Sasuke thought, getting one last look and at that moment, onxy and cerulean eyes met. The blond went red-faced at being caught but he lifted his arm and waved slightly at Sasuke, sending him a shy grin. Sasuke unconsciously smiled back in loving fondness and waved back. He watched on as Naruto turned back and retreated into his room and once the curtains were drawn back, Sasuke looked up at the grey skies and sighed.
'One moment I can't stand being in the presence of you and the next... I can't stand being away from you. What are you doing to me dobe?' Sasuke questioned. The raven ruffled his black hair and decided to ignore everything and continue his way back home.
'Maybe some gaming will help.'
Time skip to the evening.
Sasuke settled back on his leather cushioned chair, changed into an attire of baggy sweatpants and a T-shirt. He closed his eyes, the charcoal eyelashes resting against the sharp apple of his cheekbones, sighing in relief as he motioned his chair to swirl slowly in a comforting trance that soothed his over active mind.
The thoughts running through his mind stilled and stopped to one.
One thought, one person.
The only person that really ever occupied his mind nowadays.
The only person he thinks about 24/7.
The only person who, as much as he does cause him stress also gives him so much laughter and jubilance as well.
