22- ° A Close Call °

I stumbled backwards in surprise. His blue eyes were shining in the dark. "I- I think I need some time to process all of this, I'm sorry." I rushed out of the woods with those words being the last ones. It was all going good while we talked but the eyes made me feel some type of a way and I don't know how to bare with these feelings, I just needed some time to get all of this. My legs were going on their own, my mind wasn't even knowing where they will bring me to, I was too focused on my thoughts. My feet halted and my gaze ripped from the ground to see the the big tree I had in plan to live by. Let out a dry chuckle and slid down it, back into the position I was in months ago. The only thing that were missing were my tears that I promised to myself I'll not shed any. I have to go by Tae's house in the morning to get my bag for school-- I don't want to~~. I continued whining in my head until I heard some branches snapping.

Whipping my neck towards the sound, another one came from the opposite side. I started becoming scared and pressed my back on the old tree in hopes to camouflage. "Sir! Have you seen this girl? Her name is LeeHae Soo." I heard a voice that brought back so many bad flashbacks. I closed my eyes while I tried to stop all the bad things reacting in my head. "No. No-one is in this woods except me." Taehyung's deep voice answered to my mother. More like lied. Thank you Tae. I repeated in my mind knowing he will hear it which brought a smile on my face. This is actually cool~~. A deep chuckle was passed by while Taehyung's feet went by the big tree. "No problem." As he said that, light footsteps stopped. "Young man, are you talking to a tree?" My mothers voice rang through the woods once again, this time closer making my muscles tense up. "Oh, ma'am it was to you." Taehyung lied again but my mother was full of lies herself so she saw through his nervous voice this time. "Who's behind the tree?" The closer she came the more wide my eyes we're opening.

"Look at that! It's my... sister! What are you doing here?" Taehyung let a nervous chuckle escape and pulled me up by my hands, my long hair loosened which made it fall and cover my face. In a blink of an eye, I was on his back without knowing it myself. Holy shit you're fast. "Young man! Stop right now!" At the voice, I shoved my face into Taehyung's neck for her not to see me. Taehyung started running, and then sped up to an inhuman speed after he was far away from my mother to see. I tightened my hold around his neck, not enough to choke him tho. I closed my eyes because that much wind was releasing dust and all kinds of gross stuff that would burn my eyes of they were open.

As I opened my eyes to see where we are, we were already home and the hold on my thighs slowly released so that I don't fall but stand on my legs instead. My, now pretty weak, legs straightened as I stood up from his back. This idiot isn't even panting! He smiled as he sneaked his arm around my waist and leaned my body on his so that he could help me walk with these stupid jelly legs. "That was so close! Your mother is so scary, I honestly didn't expect that!" He exclaimed, gasping at the first impression of her. "She at least tried to act nice." I commented as well, making him push me on the couch in surprise. "What the fuck, she was acting?!" He screamed- okay, yelled. I nodded to confirm.

The reason he doesn't know about what was she doing was because in the hospital, I asked him to go out and told JiWoo that as a secret she swore to keep. I was happy she actually did keep it instead of saying it as soon as she stepped out of my hospital room. "Did you really think of sleeping in the woods?" He questioned as he sat down next to me, the soft material sinking a tiny bit under his weight. I nodded which made him falsely gasp. "I am offended. Do you really think I would do something to you? If I wanted to I wouldn't even bring you here, I'd kill you on the spot." He made another confession. "Wow, you're so nice." I responded, failing to hide the foolish grin.
