° Hae Soo °

The time flew by as we came to the police station in what seemed a second. We stepped inside, Taehyung looked for a free officer to help us while I was looking around, way too anxious to even look at someone let alone actually speak. "Excuse me!" Taehyung's deep voice startled one officer that was passing by. Taehyung quickly apologized and got to the point.

"Can we see.. um... one of your records?" Taehyung played with his fingers as he shifted from his one leg to another, the officer looked at the both of us and sighed. "I'm sorry kids." He shook his head and continued going his way. I took Taehyung's hand to drag him out before he embarrasses himself. "Can you please tell me who is he now?" It made me feel bad that he didn't know, "My dad, but I guess it doesn't matter Tae." He didn't want to give up though. "It does, it's your dad Hae! Come on, what did they say to you?" He questioned, pacing behind me as I was aimlessly walking.

"Nothing." I stopped as I tried to remember if they did, no. I don't remember them reporting anything to me. "Not possible Hae." He shook his head and took my forearms, coldness running down my body as soon as he did. "My mother only said he was murdered but then after a year said it was a suicide." Confused. That's what I am. She lied about one of them but which one is it? "Where is he burried?" Taehyung's hands travelled from my arms to my shoulders. "In the woods, where we was found dead." I didn't even look at him while talking, why didn't my mother want him transferred to the graveyard? "The ones I found you in?" I nodded at his question and he intertwined his fingers with mine, slowly pulling me after him.

"Where is it exactly?" I pointed on a place right in front of a tree that was opposite of the one I always sat before. He went to the place and started digging like a puppy. "W-what are you doing?" I ran to him and stopped him from digging further. "Finding out what happened?" He removed my hands off of his arm and reassured me with a smile as he continued his digging.

We had a chat, half an hour and he was already alarmed by something hard. I jumped to his side and started helping him out to discover what it was. My hands were shaking as I recognized the blue shirt my dad loved. There was no blood on it whatsoever but his arms were so pale and skinny. "I'm sorry but, it reminds me of Yoongi." Taehyung tried to light it up, maybe he noticed the tears that were in my eyes. I ignored it and started digging towards his face, I want to see him.

His eyes were terrifyingly opened, his mouth silently screaming. My heart broke, this was a bad idea. Why did I do this? Covering my mouth and nose from the foul smell, the tears escaping from the corners of my eyes as I crawled away from him. Taehyung's face fell. He made his way towards me to wrap his arms around me, pulling my head into his chest as he rocked us. "Just don't look, I'll see what I can find." He whispered after humming a soothing melody. He wiped away some tears and went back to the body.

After a few minutes I heard his voice, "Hae." I hummed in response. "I'm sorry but come see this." I took a deep breath and went to his side. His finger pointed towards my dads neck, I feel like my heart stopped once more. I followed his finger and went closer to his neck. Two bite marks, a stripe of dried blood coming from one hole. Taehyung looked at me with his eyes basically screaming the word 'sorry'. "It- it isn't your fault." I gulped down some words. "The fact that a vampire killed him and you're with me, a vampire, is another reason why you would hate me." Taehyung continued rambling bad things about himself. I put my hand over his mouth, "Stop. It isn't your fault." I don't know how to prove it but before I could even think of a way, a female voice interrupted.

"Finally, I found you!"
