32- ° Weird °

My eyes opened because of the sunlight. Wow, I fell asleep. I looked over to find Soonshim since I didn't feel as much warmth as I did before. She was guarding in front of me, her head held high and her ears up. "Soonshim," I called out, my voice sounding so weird. I didn't notice it did but after 2 weeks of not talking, I can hear myself a little change. I cleared my throat and called for her again, her head tilting in confusion since she was already responding to my first call. I smiled at her and jumped to hug her after my brain processed she was the one who helped me. Soonshim got excited by the hug which made her jump on top of me. I let a couple of giggles at the cuteness but they soon died down as I heard a deep voice.

"Soonshim! Come here baby!" The deep voice called after the pup on me. Her ears sprung up as her head swung towards her owners' voice. My head did as well. Soonshim barked and the running footsteps started coming our way. I stood up and instinctively covered my wrists that were already covered by the sleeves. I didn't even pay much attention to the cold wind hitting my face, my whole attention was put on the running figure. 

The familiar V-shaped face came into my view and I couldn't help but to let a smile tug the corners of my mouth. He saw the two of us and flashed a smile, weirdly enough, Soonshim didn't ran to him. She still stayed next to me even though her tail was wagging excitedly to the point where I thought she's gonna fly away. Taehyung wasn't even panting when he halted in front of us. "Hi," he awkwardly scratched his neck but I did catch a glimpse of happines and relief glowing in his brown eyes. I frowned, "y-you weren't worried?" He turned his head away from me, avoiding eye contact at all costs. "No, no not really. I-I mean, you were good." He nodded to himself and his thoughts, his eyes still not daring to meet mine that were filling up with tears. Suck it up you pussy. Being a crybaby again. I scolded myself and Taehyung didn't even react, he was looking towards Soonshim, a gentle smile painted on his lips as he called her towards himself. "Let's go home, shall we?" He questioned the pup and I was confused. I didn't move from my spot, I will embarrass myself if I go after him and he didn't mean it to me.

"What are you waiting for? I'll feed you and then you can come back here." He said rather coldly. I started following behind, slowly and quietly as I got drowned in my own thoughts.

But all of them led to one question;
Why is he like this now?
