I looked in the rear view mirror and saw a normal car, but there were police lights attached to the roof. It didn't look like a cop car, so I remembered my mom's advice and called 911.

"911 what's your emergency?" a lady answered as soon as I dialed the number.

"Yes I have a car behind me that doesn't look like a police car, but it has lights. I'm on highway i-90." I said nervously into the phone.

"Yes ma'am we'll tell the officer that you will pull over on the next exit." She said reassuringly.

"Thank you." I said, hanging up.

"The dispatcher told us to pull over on the next exit." When we did, we pulled into an abandoned parking lot with only one flickering street light in the middle of it. Miranda rolled down the window and waited for the officer to approach.

My phone started ringing again, so I answered it quickly.

"Hello, I am Brittany, the dispatcher who just spoke to you. We couldn't find any officers on the highway. The person you have chasing you is not a police officer. Do not pull over. We will send cars to your location as soon as possible." She hung up. I didn't realize that I was holding my breath. I had a lump in my throat and couldn't speak. I opened my mouth and only a squeak came out. I cleared my throat.

"Miranda, start driving. Thats not a cop. DRIVE!" I yelled. But she was too late. The person behind us had opened Miranda's door and dragged her out. I screamed and tried to unbuckle my seatbelt so I could help my friend.

"Miranda! Hit him!" I yelled as I jumped out of the car. I'd never thought my self defense classes would ever need to be put into action.

I ran after Miranda and her captor. She was kicking and screaming, swatting her fists everywhere. I pumped my legs but was soon tackled by stronger arms and thrown to the ground. My head hit the asphalt with a thud and I cried out in pain. I gingerly touched my temple and felt a slimy feeling on my fingertips. I whimpered then tried to stand up. A man in dark clothing ran at me, and I punched him in the face. He was knocked back a little, but he not too phased because he ran after me again. I kicked him in her groin but it seemed he felt no pain. He grabbed me in a headlock from behind and started dragging my flailing body towards the SUV that was pursuing us. Tears streamed freely from my eyes as I thought about Shawn and Miranda. The two people I cared about the most. When he opened the door and tried to toss me into the vehicle, I placed my feet on either side of the door and threw my head back into the face of my attacker. I heard a loud crack as the back of my head came into hard contact with his nose. His grip on me loosened so I started to run.

My head was bleeding harshly, but I kept running. I ran into my car and found my phone. I called 911.

"Help I've just been struck by the man who was following me. My friend has been captured we are on highway-" I was cut off when my head slammed into the steering wheel. A cold, speckled blackness overtook my vision and I slumped out of the car, unconscious.

----

When I awoke, I screamed out in pain. My head was pounding and my eye was swelled shut. I shyly touched the gash on my temple and felt a dried lump of blood. My forehead hurt immensely, and the memories came flooding back into my mind. Where am I? Where is Miranda?

I came to my senses as I tried to stand. I looked around the place I had been thrown into and saw that I was in a white room. Everything was white. The walls, the floor, the ceiling. All that was in the room was a bed and a toilet. A small sink sat in a corner with the toilet. The floors were carpet, and the bed was soft. Who the hell has a kidnap room like this? I thought to myself. I shuffled slowly over to the sink and found a mirror above it. I looked at my reflection and grimaced. I had gravel in my hair, and my face was dirty and bloody. I had a large, black bruise on my forehead and a long gash on my left temple.

I turned on the water and threw a handful of it onto my face and washed it carefully. I heard a scream coming from outside of my room. Miranda.

"Mir?! Are you okay?!" I yelled, running to a locked white door. It had bolts all over it, which made it look like a military door.

I heard a thud.

Another scream.

Silence.

I wept silently as I thought about Miranda. I crawled back over to the bed and curled into the fetal position. I heard my door open and whipped my head around. I saw Crischen. He had a bundle of white clothes in his hands.

"Put these on, slut." He spat, throwing the bundle at me.

"No." I said strongly.

"I said put them on." He spoke firmly.

"No!" I yelled back. He ran at me and pushed me back onto the bed. He smelled like alcohol. I tried to push him off, but he was too heavy. He kissed my lips and roughly bit my lip, causing blood to rise. I cried openly as his lips attacked my frozen ones.

"Please stop." I whispered. He cocked his head and smiled.

"Now why would I do that, when I have a whore like you to use at my disposal?" He said calmly. I gasped and shut my eyes tightly. I took a deep breath and balled my fists. I pummeled his stomach and groin until he got off of my limp body. He ran for the toilet and threw up in it. I jumped on his back and tried to choke him. He jerked back and sent me flying into the floor.

Crischen smiled and kicked me in my back. I screamed and he saw the opportunity to kick me more. I was kicked in my back, stomach, legs, and face repeatedly. All I was able to do was lie on the floor immobile. He left my room with a slam of the door. I spit up some blood and spat it onto the white carpet. I couldn't move. I felt my body start to swell and bruise as I lied on the ground, helpless. I stared at the wall until sleep fell upon me.

Shawn's POV

"She told me she was going to the mall." Aaron told me, running a hand through his hair.

"That's what Katie told me. But the mall is closed now. They closed at 9:30. What if they got in a car crash? What if they're dead. Aaron." I grabbed my keys and headed towards the door. Aaron stood in the middle of the floor, not moving.

"Aaron. Let's go. We need to find them." He didn't move. I walked over to him and shook him.

"AARON." I yelled. I saw a tear stream down his face.

"I love her, Shawn. I can't loose her." He said softly.

"The only thing we can do to help is find them." I suddenly heard something on the TV and turned my head towards the screen.

"Police got a call from a teenage girl at 10:46 p.m. tonight. She explained that she was being followed by a strange car with police lights. Then, only 4 minutes later, the dispatchers received a frantic phone call that the people inside the mysterious car had captured her friend and were trying to reach her, too." The lady on the news shuffled some papers then continued speaking. "The girl on the end of the line abruptly stopped talking and all the dispatcher heard was a thud. The phone was traced down to a patch of woods along side of highway i-90. Police are searching the area." I looked at Aaron and ran for the door. Someone took Katie and Miranda. I thought to myself as I opened the car and waited for Aaron to shut his door. I sped down the driveway and onto the highway at frightening speeds.

She's been kidnapped! Ahhh! What do you think is going to happen when Shawn and Aaron go to look for them?
