Katies POV

After Crischen had hurt me, Audra came shuffling quickly into my cell. She had a small cart of medical supplies. She helped me off the floor and took off my clothes. I didn't protest because I knew she would be able to stop most of the pain. I looked down and saw that my stomach and chest were beaten purple, with strips of bleeding gashes from where the hooks of his belt penetrated my skin.

Audra was quick but thorough. She got a warm wash cloth and quietly cleaned my wounds and pressed it against them to stop the bleeding. After my wounds were done bleeding, she put gauze and bandages over them, then she gave me a shot of medication. My thoughts soon became fuzzy as did my vision. She helped me over to the bed after dressing me in white clothes. I fell asleep to her gently brushing my hair and singing to me.

I woke up a long time later, and was amazed when I didn't hurt at all. I shoved the heavy duvet off of my body and didn't find any of the bruises, but I did have bloody gashes and holes all over me. It just didn't hurt. I guess I was numb from either the medication or just being beaten so many times. All I could think about was how I would die. Would I be tortured? Would he beat me to death? Would I panic and have a heart attack? Would I die trying to escape? I fell asleep with those thoughts racing around in my mind.

About an hour later, a crash in my room caused me to sit up straight. I looked around in the dim light and tried to scream, but no noise came out. Crischen was standing in my room, and he was extremely pissed off.

"What do you want?" I asked, trying to gain some confidence in this situation. I was done crying and being a little baby.

"What do I want? What do I want?! What I want is the fucking money!" He yelled. I stared at him with a stoney gaze. He stared right back, as if he was reading my thoughts or studying my soul, stroking it with the fire from his eyes.

"Maybe you should try robbing a bank. That's where most of the money tends to be." I muttered under my breath.

"If you mutter like that one more time I will beat the living shit out of you." I'm used to it by now. I thought angrily to myself, not wanting another dose of his anger.

"Is there anything else I can do for you? Because I really just want out." I begged. He ran a hand through his blonde hair and stared at me.

"No, you stupid bitch. There isn't. No one is telling me what I want to hear!" He screamed, kicking my bed. I moved back a little, fear stretching across my tired face. He saw my fear and stepped closer to me. He stroked my cheek, then slapped it hard. I tried my hardest not to cry, because that would just anger him more. I stuck out my chin and shut my eyes for a minute, then opened them.

"Tell me where it is, and you and your friends will stop hurting." I winced, but found my strength.

"No." I told him firmly, standing in front of him. Pure fury took over his expression. I was stone. I was done being beaten and tortured. He shoved me, but I stayed in my place. I closed my eyes and shoved him back.

"You little bitch." He said, kicking me down in my stomach.

That caused my food from earlier to surface and come pouring over to the side. He pushed my face in the vomit and I gagged. I shot back up, and kicked him in his groin as hard as I could. He fell onto his knees and I pounded my fists on his head and back, not knowing what else to do. He stood back up slowly, rolling his shoulders and looking me in the eye. I stared back, waiting for the hurt to come. Please don't kill me. I thought to myself. Crischen suddenly turned on his heel, wiped blood from his mouth, then marched out of my room with a boom. I stood where I was, shocked.

Audra came in to inspect me, but I wasn't that hurt, just my stomach. She gave me more antibiotics.

"He's never let anyone live if they did that.." She whispered, half to herself.

"I don't know what came over me. Please just help me. We can run for it, get the others. Please." She shook her head, tilting it towards the ground.

"He won't stop until he's dead." She said to me, a tear strolling down her cheek. I wiped it away and spoke.

"Then why wait?" I said with a hopeful smile. She just shook her head and handed me a plate of food.

"Eat. Please don't tempt him like that. Just tell him what he wants to know." She pleaded.

"Never. No. I won't let that bastard get that money. He's hurt the one's that I love. Why would I reward him for that?" I asked rhetorically. She looked at me, patted my hand, then hugged me and exited.

I sighed and ate my food. Minutes after I'd finished, a man came in my room.

"Come with me. You're being relocated." he told me huskily. I nodded and set down my plate.

The man led me out of my cell and down a long hall. He kept a firm grip on my shoulder, and wouldn't let me go. I couldn't run. He rounded a corner and we came to a dead end. No doors or other workers. He pressed a section of the wall and a section in front of me slid away, revealing a large room with six different walls. Each one was a color of the rainbow. Red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple. I ticked them off mentally. He shoved me into the room and I fell to the wooden floor with a thud. He exited and the wall slid back into place. I didn't know why I needed a room this large, but I then I realized there were 4 beds. They weren't empty either.
