Surprise!

Maya's POV 

"RILEY IM FREAKIN OUT HERE!!!!!!!!" I said to Riley totally terrified she looked up at me "h....how did....t-they-" she said then i cut her off "THEY ARE EVIL AND GENIUS THEY KNEW WE WERE STILL HERE SOMEHOW" I said "BUT HOW???!?!??!" Riley screamed trying to match my tone. We jumped as the phone rang we were terrified to answer what if it was one of them i ran over took a deep breath and picked up the phone "H-Hello????" i stuttered terrified i sighed when i heard the comforting voice on the other end "Maya it's Mrs.Wallace from next door listen i hate to disturb you but would you mind going to my house and watch Alessa and her friend from school i just have to get some stuff from the store i wont be long" she asked "o-of course Mrs. Wallace me and Riley are on our way" i said "thank you girls so much the door is unlocked" she said as we hung up. We headed over to her house we walked inside and it was pretty small a one story house but big enough for a small family we heard laughing from upstairs we smiled it must be Alessa and her friend "Alessa! it's Maya and Riley!" i yelled loud enough for her to hear she came running down the hall and hugged me. "My neighbors are here to watch us come on! don't be shy they are nice!" Alessa yelled down the hall to her friend she must be in her room or something "my friend is 14 i met her at a school fun day she's my best friend!" she said with a smile her friend came running down the hall " Hi I'm-" she said as me and Riley cut her off "ESTHER!!!!!!!!!!!" we screamed "how did you know?" she asked with a smile holding her hand out as if we were meeting for the first time "STAY AWAY......." i yelled "Maya what's wrong????" Alessa asked "huh oh nothing is wrong i just um i-m weird around people i just met that's all" i replied not wanting to seem insane "u-um Alessa we're gonna step outside for just a second" Riley said trying to keep calm so we didn't scare Alessa.

Riley's POV

 We ran outside shut the front door "WHAT THE HELL IS SHE DOING HERE???!?!?" I screamed "SHHHHH we don't want to scare Alessa" Maya replied calmly i took a deep breath. "We have to find a way to get Alessa out of there, if she killed our best friend just imagine what she could do to Alessa!" i said. We were sitting on the porch when the front door opened we jumped and turned around you can guess who it was...... "Hello" her terrifying British voice said "w-what....are you doing here?!?!?!?" i said "you thought you got rid of me didn't you??" she said "I know why your here.....I'm not gonna let you tear our family apart" Maya said she stepped closer "what makes you think that's what i want????" she said with a curious grin "i just want you to know I'm sorry for everything me and Charles did to you killing Eve threatening you everything i would like a second chance" she said innocently. Me and Maya stared at each other "I've gotten help you don't have to worry about me I'm okay now" she said " i don't know if we should trust you after everything you did Esther" i said "that's alright i understand after everything that happened i wouldn't trust me either" she said with her head down as a tear found its way in her eye and down her cheek. "Don't cry Esther....its alright" i said feeling guilty "Charles died last year...." she said looking up as she cried i gasped "oh my god! Esther I'm so sorry for you what happened to him?" Maya said "the lady at the orphanage got tired of him so she ended his life since no one would adopt him everyone kept bringing him back she was gonna kill me also but Alessa's parents adopted me" she explained. "We're so sorry Esther......we.....forgive you but we will never forget all the pain you put our family through" Maya said "thank you" she said.
