We Made A Mistake

Riley's POV
So it's been about 2 weeks since we decided to forgive Esther I feel so awful about Charles though that was her best friend. I'm actually starting to feel a bit comfortable around Esther now I think she was right she really has changed. I was laying on the couch watching a movie I was home alone when I heard a noise come from upstairs, I stopped the movie and listened *sound of stuff moving upstairs* I thought someone was in the house I ran to the kitchen and grabbed a knife. I slowly walked upstairs "H-Hello?? " I said shaking I was terrified the noise stopped and I kicked open a door and you won't believe who I saw...... I screamed at the top of my lungs when I saw him.
"Hello Riley nice to see you again" He said "CHARLES WHAT THE HELL I THOUGHT YOU WERE DEAD???? " I screamed in confusion "we all thought that didn't we? " He responded "Y-Your sick g-get out of my house before I call the police" I said trying to sound convincing "but you forgave Esther why can't you forgive me?? " He asked "because Esther didn't pretend to be dead" I said "but she's the one who told you I was dead... Didn't she??? " He replied as he got up and walked downstairs and out the front door.

I ran downstairs and locked all the doors and closed all the windows these kids are psycho at that moment I actually feared for my life. Maya walked in the front door and she looked pretty shaken I ran to her in fear she had been crying "Maya what happened are you okay?? " I asked concerned. "C-Charles isn't dead... " She said her voice shaking "I know I just chased him out the house" I said "I think we've made a mistake Maya.."
I said to her as we headed upstairs.

A few hours later Maya got a phone call it was Jonah's mom Jonah had been in a very bad car accident on his way home and he was in the hospital.
Maya was freaking out Me and her ran to Maya's car and drove to the hospital we jumped out the car and ran into the hospital. We ran to the front desk "excuse me what room is Jonah Dalewood in?? " I asked trying not to sound panicked "room 403, may I ask who you are? " She said "im his girlfriend Maya Foster and this is Riley Foster" I replied praying they would let us see him "ok you guys are on the visitation list you can head on back" She replied "thank you" We both said as we ran. We walked in the room to see Jonah laying in a hospital bed hooked up to a bunch of machines I was terrified I didn't want to lose Jonah I want to spend the rest of my life with this man. He looked at us "M-Maya?? " He said I walked over to him and kissed him "how are you feeling" I asked "pretty sore and my head hurts" He replied "how did you crash? " I asked concerned "t-t-those little d-demons jumped out in front of m-my car and I slammed on breaks and it caused me to crash I'm lucky to be alive" He explained "I knew it" Riley said. "I knew it had to be them that hurt you" I said but why would they hurt him.... What do they want?.
