Charles POV
I walk in my room and shut my door I never realized how much I needed Esther until she was gone. I went to her house her parents we're gonna give me some of her things before they packed it all up they gave me some of her CDs one of her blankets her black coat and some home videos she had with her when they adopted her. I walked home with the stuff I wonder what those videos are about I took one of the DVDs out of the case and put it in my TV and hit play.
Footage:
"Esther look it's your new baby brother" *laughs* say hi"
"I love you Charles im going to be the best big sister ever arent i mommy? "
"Yes you will Esther"
Esther smiles and kisses Charles forehead
I smiled as a tear rolled down my face I took the video out and put in another one
"Come on Charles you can do it!"
"Are you sure Esher? "
I laughed at the way I used to pronounce her name
"Okay Charles here we go im gonna let go now and you'll be riding by yourself"
*Esther let's go of the bike*
*Charles races down the sidewalk then stops to smile at Esther *
"ESHER I DID IT I DID IT!!!"
"I KNEW YOU COULD DO IT!! "
Esther hugs Charles
I took the video out and put it back I looked through Esther's things I got her jacket and a little piece of paper fell out her coat pocket.
It read
Dear Family,
I sincerely apologize for what I'm about to do you all were too good to me I want to thank you all for everything you did for me.
Maya, you taught me how to be strong and fight and I thank you
Riley you taught me how to not hold grudges and care more than hate
Mom and Dad you guys taught me to be the best I can be and to follow my dreams I know your only my adopted parents but to me you are my real parents
And last but certainly not least....
Charles you were the best little brother I could ever ask for thank you for always being there when no one else was I love you so much Charles I'm sorry I tried to turn you into me I was very bad you we're good I'm sorry please don't hurt anyone be the sweet sensitive loving caring Charles I've known for 12 years be you don't be someone others want you to be I love you
I'm sorry for all the pain I caused everyone I did this for a good reason you guys weren't ever going to forgive me so there was no point in living um... I guess that's all I have to say i love you guys so much

I cried as I read this letter I folded it back to where Esther had it and put it back in her pocket.
6 months later
Well it's been 6 months since I lost Esther and it hasn't been easy I'm at the graveyard visiting her grave. It's raining really terribly at the moment I put a flower on her grave "I love you Esther" I said as a tear rolled down my face.
*police sirens in the distance*

I put my hands up and walked towards the car I already knew it was coming they found out I killed Jonah
They handcuffed me and shoved me in the back of a cop car.... I'm now facing life in Juvy once I turn 18 they will move me to prison I'm facing a life sentence I won't ever get out. Be smart don't make the dumb decisions I made be you and don't let anyone change that... Ever well um in about to eat dinner now so I guess this is goodbye for good..... So uh goodbye.
