Maya's POV
I haven't heard from Jonah in a few days almost a week I'm starting to get really worried. I decided to go back to his house but this time I'm taking Riley with me.
Riley's POV
We arrived at Jonah's house but when we got there we saw about 6 police cars outside his house. Me and Maya jumped out the car 2 of the cops approached us "excuse me ladies may we help you with something? " One of them said "hi officer where's my fiance?? " Maya asked concerned. They were quiet for a moment until one of them spoke up with a stutter in his voice "l-ladies could you come with me for a moment? " He asked as we nodded and followed him he led us to the lake by Jonah's back yard and what we saw was horrific I held Maya back as she started screaming and panicking "JONAH NO!!!!! OH GOD NO NO MY BABY!!!! " She screamed as she fell to the ground I held her back. "Omg what happened to him" I asked full of tears "we aren't sure all we know is some neighbors called concerned about him and wanted us to go check it out and we came back here and we found his body in the lake" He said as I covered my mouth in shock. "We have no clue who did this but we are gonna do our best to find the murderer the only evidence we have is this wash rag that was found in his mouth I guess it was to keep him from screaming and we also found a axe covered in blood" he said. "Um officer I know this may sound crazy but I might have an idea as to who might have done it" I said to him Maya looked up at me as her eyes got big.
We arrived with the officers to Charles's house I knew he had to have done it. "Is there a specific reason why you think he did it? " One of them asked "we've had some trouble with him in the past him and his sister murdered our best friend 5 years ago and the other day her boyfriend was in the hospital due to a crash and we blamed it on the sister but Charles did it and now he wants to get revenge because his sister committed suicide" I explained. The officer nodded his head in agreement he banged on the door "IT'S THE POLICE OPEN THE DOOR" he said as Charles's mom opened the door he explained to her that her son may be the suspect of a murder and he had witnesses and reliable sources so he hand cuffed Charles and took him to the station to question him.
