Chapter Ten

Louis grabbed the other boy’s hand dragging him into the dainty store full of glass shelves. He strutted over to the left side of the room where the jewelry he was looking for was located.

“And why did I have to come along Louis?” Liam sighed in exasperation.

“Because I wanted another opinion and I trust you the most, other than Harry.” Louis stated blatantly, eyeing the rings in the cases.

“Well… we don’t have long,” Liam glanced at his watch, “we have to be back in about an hour.”

“I just need to find the right one Liam! If you help me this will go much faster.” Louis pulled his friend up to the glass next to him, pointing at different rings.

“What about that one?” Liam pointed to one that stated it was the February birthstone.

“Too flashy. And the name of it? No thank you.” Louis laughed and moved down the line.

“So you want something simple?” Liam concluded, looking at the rings without gems.

“Yeah. He wouldn’t want anything flashy… and maybe I should get a chain with it. Ya’ know? So he can put it around his neck if he wants too.” Louis eyed the chains, and glanced back at rings.

“How much money do you have? These ring won’t cheap.” Liam muttered.

“These are perfect!” Louis exclaimed, pointing out two simple black rings.

“Whoa. That’s a lot of money Louis.” Liam pointed to the price tag, “Especially if you’re going to get a chain to go with it.”

“He’s worth it Liam. He’s worth it all.” Louis smiled, talking to a worker about his purchase.

“I’d like those two rings… the black ones right there.” Louis told the nicely dressed woman.

“Would that be all?” The sales lady asked politely.

“No… I think I want that chain over there too.” Louis indicated to a delicate chain made of stainless-steel.

“Wonderful choice, who’s this all for?” The woman inquired, putting everything in little cases.

“They’re for me and my boyfriend and.” Louis smiled brightly, handing over his credit card.
