"no way, i'm not going to let you walk home this late." phil said.
"don't worry, i'll be fine."
"like i said, no way. you'll just have to sleep here tonight."
dan thought for a short while.
"that's kind and all, but i don't want to bother you."
"dan, this won't bother me. it'll actually make me feel better. this way i know you're safe." phil explained to dan.
