the next day, phil was on the train.
dan sat next to him.
phil looked out the window, he didn't want to look at dan.
the sun had just risen and was sending shimmering beams of gold through the city.
"look, phil, i'm so sorry. but how am i supposed to do anything when i don't know anything? i can't even come to your house to apologize... if you let me in, i could help." dan explained.
phil ignored dan, he continued looking out at the beautiful morning sunshine and everything it touched.
dan sighed.
"fine, i guess this was the wrong place to sit." dan got up and walked to the front of the train, standing, he waited for his stop, not looking back at phil once.
