phil explained everything to dan.
phil's parents hated gay people and wouldn't allow phil to even questions his sexuality.
phil was scared of them, and even though he wasn't attracted to girls, he couldn't stand up to his parents.
dan finally understood phil and wanted to help.
"you need to tell them, phil." dan said.
"i know, but... i- i just can't." phil said with a deep breath.
"phil, whats the worst that can happen? they wouldn't hurt you, physically. and you live on your own, so they can't kick you out. plus, i'll be by your side, through it all." dan assured phil.
