Chapter 11 - Confessions: The New Couple

After the mission, you all went home but you and Natsu didn't tell anyone about your relationship until you two felt more comfortable. Lisanna and Lucy have been bickering a lot lately. It's like Natsu and Grey without fighting. Even Erza has to jump in to stop the fight. Natsu can hear them fight about who gets him. He looks at you and smiles because he knows they will be upset later.

The next two days was just you two have date nights.
The first night was a nice dinner at a restaurant. You had (F/F) and Natsu had a plate with steak and some greens and water. After you both shared a cake for dessert. Then went to Natsu's place to hang out for a while. While you were playing with some water, Natsu came behind you and hugged you. You blushed as he was... purring? You realized Season is almost ready.
The second day Natsu was at your place and you were watching a movie together. You cooked breakfast for dinner and made popcorn. This date lasted longer than expected, which meant you two slept on the couch until morning. The next morning Natsu said,"Good Morning (Y/N)," then kissed you in the cheek for the first time. You were still sleepy and when you are sleepy you act drunk. (LoL applies to me in real life.) So your immediate reaction was to kiss him back, on the lips, hard, because you were drunk. By it seems to you Natsu didn't mind. Then you fell back to sleep on Natsu.
Later you two headed to the guild. You plan to tell the Master that it was the official mating week as a warning.

"Mira," you timidly asked. "May I speak to Master?"
"What is it Child?" Master Makarov happen to appear at the exact moment.
"May I speak to you in private please?"
"Yes. Come in." You entered the office.
"I would like to warn you that Dragon Mating Week is this week."
"Is that so? Well, tell the other Slayers as well for me. I have to attend a Magic Council meeting. I'll see you tomorrow!"
Master walked out of the office and the guild hall with you going to Gajeel and Levy, then Mira. You were sure that Laxas knew already plus you were scared of him.

You walked to Natsu and told him it's time to tell the Team. Lucy and Lisanna were arguing.
"Hey everyone! Natsu has something to say!" You purposefully put him on the spot.

"Well, we just wanted to say that (Y/N) and I are together now. That's all." You could tell Natsu was a little embarrassed.

"WHAT?!?" yelled Lucy and Lisanna, synchronized.

"Yeah. So you can stop fighting now."

"But Natsu, I'm your childhood best friend and we promised each other that we would get married."

"We said that? I don't remember."

"Heh. Told you" snickered Lucy.

"SHUT UP BLOND FREAK!" screamed Lisanna.

"WHAT DID YOU SAY HAG?!" Lucy glared at Lisanna and then proceeded with her thought.

"Why didn't you choose me Natsu? I confessed first and your team partner." asked Lucy being hopeful that Natsu would change his mind.

"Well, you see. Our parents were best friends and we basically grew up together. So Lisanna, you aren't really my childhood best friend."

Lisanna started crying. Lucy was mad and went home.

"So you two are dating. Since when?" asked Grey.

"When we were on that mission." you said.

"No wonder. I keep seeing you look at Natsu." said Erza. "Well good luck during Mating Season.
