Overseer David Allen
Entry #2
Mojave DesertDear journal, we've made a breakthrough on the search for Doctor Harrison! Yesterday, we came across a tribe of people known as The Boomers. Alpha Team took heavy casualties as there was a barrage launched at them. 3 were injured and 1 was killed. Anthony Del Rio.
We came to them after we heard Doctor Harrison ran this way from some kinda old blown up settlement. So after Alpha Team met up with The Boomers after the attack, they arranged a meeting with me and the leader of The Boomers, Pearl. In my opinion, these people were batshit crazy. She gave me her deepest apologies and told me that Doctor Harrison had been helping out around Nellis AFB for over a month. Constructing special weapons, treating the injured and sick, teaching the youth about cleanliness, and even help curing her Radiation Sickness.
I never expected this much out of Doctor Harrison. Then she showed me a letter that Doctor Harrison wrote himself to The Boomers.
To whom it may concern, you all know me as Doctor Harrison around here, but there's something you people haven't exactly figured out and it's not your fault. I've been here for a whole month helping all of you out, which I really enjoyed doing, but I've been kept prisoner here. Literally. I was running from this HUGE Radscorpion because I was trying to hunt it. As I was running, I got hit by your barrage. Luckily I survived and was revived by an engineer here by the name of Reggie. Soon, I met your wonderful leader. As she was ill, I cured her and brought her back to full health. You seem like a wonderful woman by the way Pearl. Anyway, I was trying to leave after that because I had a mission, but Reggie kept me here. It was either stay here or be blown to pieces by a Bomb Anklet he had. For over a month, he kept me here as a secret prisoner. I couldn't come to any of you for help because he was always near me. I hope you understand this, because I killed him today and finally escaped Nellis. Again, you people are very nice and caring, but it would've been easier to explain myself like this instead of being shot on sight. I hope you don't need me soon. I'm trying to find my way back home. I love you all. I hope you can forgive me.
Your friend, Doctor Wayne Harrison.
Ho-ly shit. A few guards from The Boomers said they saw him leave Nellis through the gate and out in the desert. So we gotta head out and try to find the closest NCR Station. He'll be there. In the other entry, he said he wanted to find his parents.
I have no information on who they are or who the team composed of because I wasn't elected overseer at the time of his parents demise, but I've heard from people that his father was affiliated with the NCR. So the search parties will head to the nearest NCR Outpost and get assistance.
Overseer out.
