Overseer David Allen
Camp McCarran
Entry #3

Dear journal, as Overseer, it is my sworn duty to tell every notable event. Good or bad. I've got some great news and some horrible news. The search for Doctor Harrison led us to an NCR Ranger Station. Ranger Station Delta.

They gave us some intel on Doctor Harrison who was kidnapped and sold by The Powder Gang. The buyer? Caesar's Legion. Sick people. With the Intel they gave us, we were able to have the signal of the ham radio traced.

NCR insisted on helping us with getting Doctor Harrison back. They get 2 of their biggest enemies brought to justice and we got our doctor. A couple of days after tracing the signal, I sent Alpha Team out, along with the NCR Troopers, to ambush the deal. The ambush didn't go quite as planned. NCR sent out 8 troops with us and they came back with 3.

Only 1 person out of Alpha Team had lived. Tyson Margera. Officer Brody Davis, George Hall, and John Hudson had died. An extreme loss to our home. And to top it all off, Doctor Harrison was taken by The Legion.

We're trying to get all the help we can get right now. I'm not sending out the rest of our rescue teams out now. I can't risk it. I'm gonna assemble the finest warriors I know inside and out of Vault 859 to rescue our friend and put a boot in the ass of The Legion.

Overseer out.

Entry #20
Cottonwood Cove

Dear journal, I've been here at Cottonwood Cove for a month and my first 2 weeks here have been hell, but are now even worse. My second day here, some legionaries took me out of my fence and held me down to the ground while a man spray painted a red X across my torso as if marking me. They then took me up the Colorado River by boat and brought me to Caesar's Fort. He was a man with short white hair and was a bit older then i thought. He sat at has throne inside of his tent with some Mongrels near his feet as if they were guarding him.

As I drew closer with the guards following me and I stopped before him, he spoke to me.

"You. You're Doctor Harrison. THE Doctor Harrison. The one I've been pleased by"
I looked at him blankly.
"...What?"
He smirked.
"You heard me. You have pleased me. Taking out Raiders like the trash they are, assassinating the leader of The Fiends, you should be grateful I haven't had you nailed on a cross for that little stunt you pulled with your friends during this whole exchange. You're lucky you're useful".

I looked over behind his throne and saw in the distance, a bed. Right in front of it was a Mark II Auto Doc. A Mark II?

"Caesar, is that a Mark II Auto Doc?"
He turned his head to look at it.
"Hm? Oh that. Why yes it is a Mark II."
I replied "The only people who know how to build one of those are The Follower-"
"Followers Of The Apocalypse. I'm aware of that. I was a member and i had built this one by myself."

I paused....what?! Caesar?! A Follower!?

"You were a Follower?"
He looked at me bluntly and replied.
"I was. A long time ago. But that's a tale for some other time. Are you a Follower as well?"
"No. My mother was."
He thought about what I said for a moment then just said "....interesting". Anyway, we skipped the bullshit and told me why he needed me.

"So I've bought you because I need someone like you right now. I'm not gonna keep you a labor slave like the rest of the troglodytes I pick for that. I'm sure as hell not gonna have you tortured for my amusement either. I have something you'll find as pleasing to you then it will be for me. I need you to help another scientist we have here. His name is Doctor Isaiah Lupes. And I need a personal favor done for me at this moment. He'll tell you his needs and I'll tell you mine. Understood?".

I guess, again, I didn't have a choice. There I was surrounded by a dozen armed guards and some Mongrels and if I said no, it would be the end of me. I nodded my head.

"Yes Caesar"
He smiled
"Alright. I need you to build me a type of weapon. Something to defend myself in case my guards fail me. I can't stress how important this is. Perhaps some sort of gauntlet or melee weapon?"

I told him I would and in the next hour i was already working in a tent on the far right end of the camp near the lake. It was occupied by the scientist Caesar was telling me of. I walked in and was greeted by a pale and bald man. He introduced himself "Greetings. I'm Doctor Isaiah Lupes". He was bald and had pale skin and these eyes that were so blue they were almost a clear blue.

He had a voice that was very unsettling. "I specialize in Medical Science, Chemistry, and Biology.". The thing I liked about not being a labor slave, I was just working. I was still held against my will and surrounded by people I despised most, but I had been calm. So me and Lupes got down to business on the weapon for Caesar.

We've been working on it for weeks and now we're putting our finishing touches on it. More to come soon. I must go.

Doctor Harrison out.
