NO I'm not going to say that I hate Serena, cause I don't. I like Serena, and I really shipped Amour for a while. I don't really know what changed my mind, probably because I really ship contest and most vontest fanfics go together with Poke, so now I like poke more than amour, but I still feel normal about amour cause I used to like it.
But I'm not here for the shippings, but for Serena. There 2 kinds of people, the ones who HATE Serena, and the ones who LOVE Serena, and you don't often come across one who thinks she's just okay. I don't hate Serena, I don't love Serena.
She's a good character with a good development, but there's just one thing I don't really like, not about her, she can't do anything about it (mostly because she isn't real but sssshhhh in the Pokefan world she is like everybody else real!), and that is that she (in my opinion) looks to much like May. I got some examples, like they both didn't want to do what their parents wanted them to do. They both later discovered that they wanted to do contests/performances, after Serena cut her hair they also look like each other from looks, they both have someone that likes them (Sid from the Deoxys movie and Tierno) and they both have oblivious a crush (even though Serena's crush is admitted and May's not but come on, you can oblivious see that she likes Drew...) I just wish that the writers would've been a bit more creative and give her a more unique story.
But for the rest Serena is a good, cute character, but I also think that some people missed the arguments that usually found place. It was too peaceful...
But after all, this is just my opinion, and I don't want to get any fights or something, so if you think something else, that's completely fine. I don't mean to offend anyone with this!
