~Cae’s POV~
As Niall was showering the rest of the boys were singing while Jay played his guitar to two of the songs he already had learned. Nat had gotten up to go to the bathroom so it was just me and the boys. As soon as we heard Nat shut our door and the bathroom door Harry turned towards me, “CAE!” he shouted.
“Shit Harry! Do you have to scream my name when I'm right next to you?” I asked a bit irritated that he basically burst my eardrum.
“Sorry,” he smiled sheepishly, “but I need help!”
“With what?? Is it your time of month??” I asked him laughing.
“Ha ha, very funny.” He answered sarcastically, “No, I just need your help because I’m not sure what to get Nat for our one month anniversary and for her birthday!”
“Oh yeah her birthday is in like three weeks! And your guys’ one month is what? Like Friday?” I asked, remembering that mine and Niall’s was on Saturday the day after Nat’s and Harry’s [a/n sorry if I mixed it up I don’t remember who started going out first]. I wonder if Niall will remember…
“Um, this is kinda random, but I have a question for you guys…” I said unsure towards Harry, Louis, Zayn and Liam while Jay continued to strum the strings of the guitar quietly.
“Shoot, go for it, ask away,” were the responses I got from the four boys.
“Well, um, uh, do you guys, uh think—“
“Spit it out Caeden!” Louis shouted.
“DoyouguysthinkthatNiallwillrememberouranniversary?” I spit out rather quickly. Jay had stopped strumming and looked at me and smiled. He was probably remembering when we dated I wasn’t huge on like week-a-versaries but like one month and like two months and so on I cared more about. Like I didn’t expect any presents but I wanted some acknowledgment that he remembered.
Louis started to laugh, and then Zayn answered, “Of course he will! He might not know what to say at first but he’ll probably do something special.”
“I don’t want any presents though, just like a card or him just to say ‘happy one month!’.” I said right as Nat was walking down the hall towards us in the kitchen thing and as we heard Niall turn off the water to the shower.
“Who are we talking about?” Nat asked.
“Me and Niall,” I replied.
“Oh, yeah, I'm sure he’ll say something because if he doesn’t then I’ll kick his butt!” Nat said slightly joking but I knew she’d do something to him if he forgot.
“We all will probably hurt him in some way if he forgets!” Liam said as Harry, Louis and Zayn nodded their heads in agreement.
“Thanks guys, but I don’t want anyone to get seriously injured..” I said with an uncertain laugh.
“Who’s not getting injured?” Niall came out of the bathroom with just his pajama pants on and no shirt and his hair still wet and the rest of his chest slightly wet from his hair.
I sucked my breath in, “No one,” I said as coolly as possible.
“Okayy,” Niall said giving the boys and Nat a look and they just laughed and shrugged their shoulders, “well if it’s an ex-boyfriend that’s trying to get my Cae away from me then yeah they’re gonna get seriously injured!”
