~Nat’s POV~
I woke up in Harry’s arms. I got up slowly trying not to wake him but he just wrapped his arms tighter around me. I smiled and turned around to face him. I gently placed a kiss on his nose and then got up. I was expecting everyone to be up before me, but surprisingly no one else was up. I saw Niall and Cae wrapped up in eachothers arms. I went to the bathroom and when I came out and went into the kitchen I found Niall and Liam in the kitchen talking.
“I layed awake for hours making sure she was asleep and not having any nightmares or wanting to try that again,” Niall said to Liam.
“Yeah, I couldn’t fall asleep either I was just too worried,” Liam responded.
“Hey guys, uh what are you two so worried about?” I came in asking awkwardly.
“Oh… uh rough night with Caeden…” Liam answered unsurely.
“Liam… Niall… tell me what happened. She is my best friend and I deserve to know,” I told them.
“Well, she had a major meltdown and–“ Niall started when Liam hit his head to shut him up as Caeden entered.
“Morning guys…” she said slowly with a yawn.
“Morning Caeden,” Liam answered as Niall gave her a small smile not looking at her completely. What happened last night…?
“Hey Cae,” I said smiling at her, “care to finish now?” I asked Liam and Niall. I saw Niall glance at where Caeden’s hand was on her arm. I saw a bit of white gauze underneath her hand. “Oh no…” I said under my breath. Niall had heard me and he just walked past us with Liam leaving me and Caeden.
“How could you…?” I started out slowly. “How could you do this again? It tore everyone up before! It hurt me, Jay and yourself!” I started to raise my voice as I saw a tear stream down Caeden’s cheek.
“I almost could have lost you… there is so much pressure from everything. I'm getting hate and I couldn’t lose my best friend and I just wanted the pain to go away…” Caeden said getting quieter and quieter. I saw more tears stream down her face.
“Caeden I thought you made a promise to me and Jay. I thought you said you would come to us!”
“You’re hurt! And no one else would understand!”
“You could have woken me up! And I'm sure Jay would have understood! He’s our best friend too!” I yelled causing Harry and Jay to come in.
“Nat, calm down,” Jay said quietly.
“No,” I simply stated and left the room.
“I’ll go talk to her,” I heard Harry say behind me. I heard Jay starting to talk to Cae and trying to comfort her. As I was walking back to Harry’s bed I passed Niall and Liam and Zayn and Louis. I saw Niall crying and that she hurt all of them really bad. Especially Niall and Louis because she’s gotten the closest with them.
~Niall’s POV~
When I saw Caeden enter I couldn’t hold back the tears. Liam put a hand on my back and led me out of the room to let Cae and Nat talk.
“I just feel hurt and betrayed and untrusted,” I said letting the tears spill out as I put my head in my hands.
“We all do…” Louis said slowly, “she hurt us all but the only thing we can do is not let her do that again and to always be there for her. She needs us most now.”
