~Caeden’s POV~

School started and it's been weeks since I last saw Niall. It's almost November and almost my birthday and Thanksgiving break. Whenever Niall and I would talk he’d always bring up bringing me to him for the break. We would talk every day, but now he’s acting strange and barely talks to me or responds. I talked to Louis about it and Liam and Zayn and Harry. None of them know why Niall stopped talking to me. I sighed as I got off the phone with Louis for the second time today. Someone knocked on my door as soon as I set my phone down.

“Come in!” I yelled flopping back on my bed.

“Hey there Caeden,” I heard Cole say. I shot up and hugged him as he sat down.

“Cole! You’re back!” I said happily pulling away.

“Yeah, wanna go somewhere?” he asked me.

“Sure, just let me get dressed,” I laughed shoving him out of my room so I could shower and get ready.

“Alright, I’ll be in the kitchen,” he said walking out.

I showered and put on my pinkish red button up sleeveless shirt and my light blue skinny jeans. I grabbed a jacket and my phone and money and ran into the kitchen to get Cole.

“You ready Cae?” Cole asked.

“Yup,” I replied slipping on my low heel boots and waiting by the back door for Cole. He grabbed the keys and opened the door.

“After you,” he smiled and bowed as I walked past him and laughed.

After we got in the car Cole looked at me and asked, “Are you alright?”

“Hmm?” I said snapping out of it.

“Caeden, I asked if you’re alright? How’s Niall?” he repeated.

“Fine. I’m fine, he’s fine,” I snapped at him and pulled my phone out.

“Caeden, something is obviously wrong,” Cole sighed.

I decided to ignore him and play Temple Run. I was so consumed in the game that I didn’t notice Cole pull over. Cole suddenly snatched my phone out of my hands.

“Caeden, I know you. Now tell me what happened,” he said looking at me.

“Niall and I haven’t been talking a lot recently and I don’t know why and neither do the other boys,” I said quietly looking down.

“I’m sure there’s a perfectly good reason. Besides cheer up, your birthday is tomorrow and then you have Thanksgiving break,” Cole replied.

“Niall wants me to go to London and possibly Mullingar,” I whispered.

“And what’s wrong with that?”

“I don’t know, I’m scared I guess and will mom even let me?” I asked looking up at him.

“Of course she will, she loves Niall. He’s a good guy,” Cole smiled at me. “Now let’s go.”

We climbed out of the car and headed over to mall. We walked around for an hour or two until Cole got a phone call.

“Caeden, I have to run an errand but I’ll drop you off at home alright?” Cole said after hanging up.

“Alright,” I answered heading back to the car.

Half an hour later Cole was waving as he drove away and I was opening my door. I took my shoes off and went to the living room.

“Hey love,” said a familiar accent. I looked up and saw Niall.
