"What did he say?" Mitch asked directly. We are now eating lunch and luckily the boys weren't here yet. So far my day was ok. Nathan didn't talked to me on class but he keeps on looking at me, smirking. I think he's planning to kill me or what.
"He just asked why I kissed him." she was about to opened her mouth but I continued "I told him it was just a dare." she closed her mouth and nodded
"Where's Faith?" Lunch was about to finish and she wasn't here. I wonder where she is.
"Lunch detention" she responded
Detention? Faith? Impossible. Teachers love her! Why would she have detention? She is a very good student. Kinda like a nerd but in a good way.
"She slept in class." Chase said, answering my thoughts, sitting down next to Mitch..
I was about to ask why but stopped when I felt something touched my cheeks.I turned around to see Nathan's face so close to mine. "Hey babe"
Did he just.. Did he just kissed my cheeks?!
I couldn't help but blush at the thought. He actually kissed my cheeks.
"Ahhww.. She's blushing." He pinched my cheeks causing me to blush even more.
"Ahwww.." I heard Mitch, Chase and Shane mimicked him.
"S-st-stop i-it." I slapped his hands away making him smirk at me. "What?"
"Nothing babe. Nothing at all. Let eat?" He suggested. I nodded and we all started eating in silence until Shane decided to yell "Are you guys a couple now?" I choked on my yummy pasta and stared at him, wide eyes
The cafeteria went dead silence. Not a single sound can be heard. Everyone was looking at our way. It was starting to irritate me.
"Yes" Nathan proposed. "Everyone listen up! Me and Athena are now a couple." he held my hand and stood up bringing me with him. A lot of people took they're phones out and started taking pictures and texting, tweeting, making it they're status. This is not good. Not good at all.
"Nathan!" I whisper-yelled. "We are not a couple! What do you think you're doing?! A lot of people will give me death threats! You know you have crazy fan clubs!" I rambled, starting to panic. They are gonna kill me. Vivian will! Vivian! She is soooo gonna hate me for this. She's gonna make my life a living hell.. again..
I was about to tell the high schoolers the truth when Nathan cleared his throat making everyone look at him. "No one will give threats or hurt her in any way. If I catch you even glaring at her, I will take your eyeballs out." He threatened everyone giving them a glare. "Understood?!"
People murmured 'yes' and nodded.
"Good, you can go on now" he shooed them and smiled.
I, on the other hand, was standing there like a statue with my mouth wide open. He controlled them, like they we're robots. Unbelievable.
"Babe, are you still gonna continue eating or just stand there like a retarded person?" I sat down and glared at him.
"What the hell?-" I was about to argue when Mitch cut me off " You didn't told me!! I thought we are best friends" she whined
"Mitch, we are not a couple." I explained
"You hurt my feeling babe." he put his hand on his heart acting like he was just been shot.
Chase and Shane just stared at us like we're clowns. They have this amused expression on they're faces. Mitch continued to whine about me not telling her. We promised to tell everything to each other. From our personal lives to our deep and darkest secret.
"Nathan, you need to tell everyone the truth." I begged
"I did. You, Athena Brook, is now my girlfriend. Why are you not happy? Every other girl would die just to be in you're position." This arrogant jerk.
"Then why me?? Pick someone else to joke around. I don't want to be a victim." I cried out.
He sighed and look at me with a pleading look.
Ahww.. he looks so cute, like a puppy. I just wanna hug him- What am I saying?!
"Just agree to be my girlfriend just for a month and I'll let you go." He said. "Please?"
A month? Not that long, but still I can't be with him!
Maybe I'll give him a chance.
"Okay." I sigh. "But only for a month" I added
His face lit up and grinned. "Thank You! Thank You Thank You!" he hugged me and started kissing giving me butterfly kisses all over my face.
"Ok. Ok. That's enough" I blushed trying to push him off.
"You won't regret this." he whispered in my ear and let go. "Let us all eat!" he said to the group.
We were about to finish our lunch when the cafeteria doors open with a strong force making a loud sound. Then comes in a very very very angry Asian. uh oh. You won't like it when Faith is-
"Athena Blaire Brook! Why the hell did you not tell me?!" She roared like a lion
"Faith, calm down-" I started
"Calm down? Calm down? You are telling me to calm down?!" she was catching to much attention so I dragged her with me making my way to the Women's Restroom with Mitch following behind us.
"Listen to me, I'll explain..-"
"Of course you will! You should!" Mitch started to whine again.
"Will you both shut up and listen to me?!" I snapped. I was starting to get a headache from all these dramas. They nodded.
"We are not really a couple-well we kinda are now. Anyways, he just announced it without me knowing that I was in a relationship with him! Who does that?" I exclaimed "Then I started to complain at him and he asked me to agree just for a month. 1 month. Starting now. So, we are just-I don't know exactly- trying out." I explained but the last part sounded more like a question.
"I think he likes you" Mitch stated and Faith nodded her head agreeing.
"Girls, Nathan don't like me in that way." it's impossible for him to like. Not just him. Everyone. I'm not that like-able, if you know what I mean.
"Maybe he's just confused. He just wants to know what he really feels, same goes to you." Faith said.
"Me? Why me? I don't like him that way!"
"Then why are you blushing?" Mitch interrogated. Pointing her index finger at me.
"I'm not blushing!" I screeched
She grab my arm and let me take a good look at myself in the mirror.
I look like a freaking tomato!!
