Nate's P.O.V.
"I knew yoouu were trouble when yoouuu walkk innn so-" Shane started singing a horrible cover of Taylor Swift's song. He has a secret obsession for Taylor Swift. Of course only Chase and I knew that. I bet he has a lot of pictures of her in his bedroom that's why he would never show us his room.
"For the f*cking last time Shane, Shut the f*ck up!!" I was starting to annoyed. I'm freaking out here and he's just- well, he's just- urrghhhh nevermind
"You're just jealous you don't have my amazing voice" Shane sneered.
"Hey Nate, what's with the mood man?? Are you PMS'ing or what?" Chase joked and started laughing but stopped as soon as he saw my glare.
"Whatever. I'm outta here. Call me later."
I left our secret hideout place, which is the basement of Shane's house, and started walking home. We are neighbors, so it didn't took me time to go back. Me and those idiots were best friends like how Athena and her two best friends. We go way back....
Anyways, my awesome name is Nate. Actually it's Nathan but call me Nate, just Nate. Why? Because only one girl calls me by my full name- No, wait. There's two- I mean three. My Mom and Dad, only if they're mad at me) and my sweet little Athena.
Wondering where she is? She's at school. Why? Of course to study. But why am I not at school? Because I don't want to. School's boring. I only go there cause my parents force me and Athena is there of course. I make her life sooo much fun, like at the cafeteria yesterday.
Yep, the cafeteria. The place where so many wonderful things has happen. Like when me and Athena had our first food fight, Athena and Vivian had an almost cat fight, also when Athena agrees to be my girlfriend. For 1 month.
Yeah, only a month but I'll make her fall for me in 1 month and we'll be together forever. Geez, that sounded creepy.
I have a confession to make. I have a tiny crush on her since we were kids. Okay, maybe not a tiny crush. She's just so fun to hang around with. You don't have to try to be cool- Well, I'm naturally cool- just to be beside her.
That one month is a challenge and I accept it whole heartedly. I'll give her gifts, make her smile, give here flowers, go to dates-
I stopped my thoughts and widen my eyes in shock.
A date! We didn't have our first date yet.
Sh*t. I don't know what to do for our first date. Hell, I don't even know if we'll have one.
I know, I know. I'm over-reacting. But to tell you the truth I never, never, to a girl out for a date before. I never even dated before! I'm no gentleman.
Okay, don't panic. I'm Nathan Cordova for crying out loud! One date, just one date.
Where would she want to go?
The movies? Nah, she'll hate it.
Maybe a simple picnic? Too cliché
"Son, you okay?" I turn around to see my father looking at me, worried. "You've been pacing there back and forth! You alright? Don't tell me you got a girl preg-"
"Dad, no!!" I stopped him from finishing his question. "I just have a problem on my mind."
"Well, what is it? I can help you know. I am a lot smarter than you."
"Thanks alot dad. You boost my ego." I rolled my eyes and sat down across him.
"You're welcome son. Now, what do you need?"
"First, I got to tell you that I got myself a girlfriend!" I said with a hint of happiness in my voice.
"That's great son, did you pay her or anything? He said watching football on t.v.. I sigh and got the remote and turned it off. much to his protest.
"Dad, I'm serious. I have a girlfriend and that girl is Athena." he stared at me, wide eyes, like I killed someone.
"Athena? As in Athena Brook?" I nodded.
He walked towards me and gave me a HARD punch in the shoulders.
"What the hell pops?" I groaned.
"Why would you date someone so innocent like Athena?! Why?!"
"What? Here I thought you'll be proud for me getting a responsible girl." That hurts. Does he not trust me?
"I am proud. But, Athena is like a daughter to me! I don't like her having a boyfriend who will just break her heart." He said.
"Dad, I'm not gonna hurt Athena. I like her." I rolled my eyes at him. Making him glare at me.
"I'm serious son. Hurt her, I'll hurt you. Blood-related or not." he gave me a final glare before walking out.
Curious where my mom is? She's at work. She's a doctor at a hospital annd she have a night shift. So, I just see her in the morning.
I sigh and make my way to my room.
Time to make some phone calls.

I know, It's summer! Why the hell would a person in high school be busy?! Well, it's my nephew's 1st birthday this Sunday and I offered to help. So I'm pretty busy cause I still go to help my dad at the store and come home to do the dishes for 11 person. yah! I have a big family. Imagine having 9 siblings around. Disaster. Guess what? I'm the 7th child, which sucks.
