In the town of Point Reyes Station, California, teenagers Coke and Pepsi McDonald are sitting outside on their front porch for some reason that I have not yet figured out. They were just chilling or something, idk.
Anyways, all of a sudden, Pep's face becomes fearful. Coke notices this, sighs, and says, "Pep. What's up?"
"There's something off here... I don't know what it is, but something's not right here... I can feel it," Pep answers. Her breathing begins to speed up, and her eyes widen.
"You haven't felt this way since our road trip last summer..." Coke mumbles to himself. "Eh, I'm sure it's nothing, Pep." Then his field of vision begins to become dimmer. "Hey, is there an eclipse going on, or-"
If Pep's eyes weren't wide before, they are now. She points behind and above Coke, trembling in fear. "Uh, Coke..."
Coke turns around and immediately gasps. In the middle of their street is a gigantic, yellow, muscular-looking robot. And sitting in the cockpit is a man they never thought they'd see again.
Dr. Herman Wersaw.
"DR. WERSAW!?" both Coke and Pep exclaim simultaneously, as if rehearsed.
Either Dr. Wersaw doesn't hear them or doesn't bother to reply directly to them. Judging the fact that he's rather far away from them (and in his cockpit, which is enclosed by glass), I'm going to guess option #1.
Anyways, Dr. Wersaw turns on a microphone and begins speaking. "Citizens of Point Reyes, it is I, the Herman Wersaw, returning from what you all thought was my oblivion. And now, it's time for my revenge."
"Okay, so apparently nearly drowning to death turns you into some cartoonish villain. How pathetic," Coke grumbles.
Dr. Wersaw cackles loudly and pulls some sort of lever. "It's time to party, fools!" A compartments opens up in the robot's place where the sun don't shine, and robots begin flying out and about the city. Thinking quickly, Coke and Pep run inside their house to take cover.
"How the hell is he back!?" Coke exclaims, breathing an exasperated sigh.
"There must've been something done to him to keep him from drowning in that river..." Pep mutters to herself.
Coke nods, and then grabs his twin sister by the shoulder."Well, whatever happened, we've gotta find a way to stop him again, and fast. Otherwise, he'll do much more damage than he did the first time..."

It's nearing the end of 6th hour Spanish I, a class I happen to share with both Sam and Avery. Right now, we're being given time to jot down some new vocabulary words in our notebooks. While I may seem like I'm focusing on the task at hand, I'm also simultaneously thinking about the mission I have been obligated to do. How is it going to work? What exactly are going to be our strategies?
As these thoughts are going through my (and probably Sam and Avery's as well) head, the intercom beeps, and then the intercom lady asks, "Mr. Layendecker?"
"Yes?"
"May we have Heath, Avery, and Sam come to the front office to check out, please?"
Mr. Layendecker then shifts his gaze towards each of us, and there's nothing we can provide him but shrugs. "Um... okay."
As the three of us gather our stuff and walk outside to our lockers, we can only exchange both confused and nervous glances. It's now that I notice Skylar is also heading to her locker, and I also spot Jack, Mackenzie, and Elle.
We end up walking upstairs together as a group. At the main office, we meet up with Eghosa, Luke... and Dr. Magdon.
"Wonderful, you're all here! Right this way, please," Dr. Magdon says to us, gesturing towards the front doors. Reluctantly (at least, that should describe everyone exceptt Dr. Magdon), the ten of us walk outside.

Dr. Magdon has led us to the curb by the time I finally ask, "Why did you pull us out of school?"
"Yeah, and how?" Sam adds.
Dr. Magdon answers Sam's question first. "As an authorized adult figure, I was able to simply walk in there and say I needed you kids for a special task. The lady at the front office didn't believe me at first until I showed her my old TGF lisence. Man, was that woman thrown in for a whirl," he laughs.
"Now, as to why I'm doing this, you kids should probably take a look at this." Then he gets out a laptop and opens it. On the screen is live video footage of robots flying around a city.
"Point Reyes, California. Once a town thriving with peace, now taken over by Dr. Wersaw himself."
"This is terrible," Mackenzie gasps, putting a hand to her mouth.
"Mackenzie, what this actually is is only the beginning of what Dr. Wersaw could do. He's a much smarter man than you may think," Dr. Magdon says, a solemn look on his face.
"So what do you expect us to do?" Jack asks.
Dr. Magdon turns his eyesight to Jack, and then shuts his laptop. Then he answers, "My boy, you and all your friends are going on a road trip."
"A ROAD TRIP!?" Heath hisses. "That's your idea!?"
"Yes, Heath. While Dr. Wersaw's current habitation of attack is Point Reyes, we have no idea where his main location for formulating his plans is. Which is why we have to manually look for it. We're not that technologically advanced, you know." Dr. Wersaw then shifts his attention to Sam. "And besides, you have a reasonable method of transportation."
"The hovercraft?" Skylar asks. Dr. Magdon smiles and nods in reply.
"Wait, excuse me?" I ask, confused.
"You'll find out later," Sam says, grinning.
Dr. Magdon then continues explaining stuff to us. "I pulled you out of school today because I know some of you kids are busy tomorrow-" Musical- "and I wanted to give you time to prepare before our set date for departure, which is Saturday."
"That quick?" Avery marvels.
"Yep. The sooner we're able to take out Dr. Wersaw, the better."
None of us are able to say anything else, so Dr. Magdon tells us, "Well, I better get going. I'll leave it up to you to decide how you want to plan this out. See you Saturday!" Then he gets in his van and drives off.
"Welp, Heath, Luke, Jack, and I are gonna go to my house to prepare. You girls have fun," Sam tells us. Then the four guys begin walking off to his house (which is literally a five-minute walk from here).
"My house?" Elle suggests to the rest of us. Avery, Mackenzie, Skylar, and I all nod in reply, so that's where we set off to.
gud chapter imo. idk how much more I'll get done today, today is super testing day at my school so that's gonna be fun, right :)
