Chessa- A New Love

Prequel Chapter 6- Sleepover

Last Time:
Tessa smiles and starts cooking and getting the chicken ready. Chance sits on one of the bar stools and chance and Tessa just talk and talk and talk.

Now:

About 10 minutes later chance gets up from the stool and walks to Tessa wrapping his arms around her waist and resting his head on her shoulder.

Chance- it smells so good

Tessa- you smell so good

Chance laughs - thanks so do you

Chance kisses Tessas cheek and watches as she cooks the food for them.

Chance- so when is everyone going to be home

Tessa- 3 days

Chance- so we have time to just be alone *smirks*

Tessa  laughs and hits his chest

Chance- in just kidding

Tessa-yes I know

Tessa finishes making the chicken and chance helps set the table and then they call the kids in.

Tessa- kids dinners ready

Dylan and chance come running in and sit down on the opposite side of the table from chessa. Everyone starts eating

Tessa- So kids how you liking the Xbox

Dylan - it's so fun I love it

Jace- thank you daddy so much

Chance- no problem guys I'm happy you like it

Dylan- I can't wait to tell everyone about daddy

Chance looks at Tessa confused

Tessa- well Dylan is 4 and Jace is 3 so they are in school and it was hard at first for them since everyone wanted to know who there dad was

Chance looks down sad- oh I'm sorry

Dylan- its okay now we don't have to have uncle Nathan pretend to be him

Chance looks at Tessa confused and Tessa gives him the i will tell you later look and chance just nods.

Jace - so mommy is daddy staying here now

Dylan- yea please daddy stay

Tessa - it's up to your dad if he wants to stay

Chance looks at Tessa and she smiles at him.

Chance - of course I will stay guys you are my family

Dylan and Jace smile and so does Tessa.

A little bit later everyone finishes eating and the kids run off and play while chance and Tessa start cleaning up the kitchen.

Chance - so what did Dylan mean when he said we won't have to have Nathan pretend to be there dad

Tessa-*sighs* when you left I was heartbroken and Nathan helped me out since he was like the only one not with someone so he helped me record edit basically everything helped me with Dylan and went to the doctors with me for Jace. He was a big help and when the kids went to school they got made fun of because they did not have a dad but one day Nathan dropped then off at school for me because I was at a convention with Jake to promote team 10, when Nathan dropped them off everyone thought he was there dad so we went with it, the kids stopped getting bullied so since then Nathan has prettened to be there dad, Chance I'm sorry I know it's not right but I was tired of them being bullied so Nathan was like I will just pretend to be there dad and well it worked they stopped getting bullied and - * Tessa gets cut off by chance's lips on hers*

Chance- now who talks to much

Tessa laughs - so your not mad

Chance- no of course not I would of done the same

Tessa- oh thank god I was scared you would be mad

Chance- no you were just protecting the kids wait but you and Nathan are just friends right

Tessa-yes there's only one guy in this whole world I could be more than friends with and that person is standing in front of me

Chance smiles and kisses Tessa once again. They soon pull away and finish cleaning the dishes. They then head into the living room and see the kids laying on the couches playing with toy cars.

Tessa- you two want to watch a movie

Dylan and Jace jolt up- YESSSS

Tessa- alright get Netflix up and pick a movie while me and daddy get some extra blankets and pillows

They nod and Chessa heads upstairs to a closet to get blankets and then head to a different room chance has not been in yet and walk in

Chance- woah this room is awesome

Tessa-yes it's Dylan's we made it super special for him *Tess goes to Dylan's bed and grabs his stuffed animal dinosaur*

Chane- wait thats the dinosaur I got him

Tessa- yup and he takes it basically everywhere with him he loves this dinosaur so much

Chance - why

Tessa- because I told him his dad got it for him

Chance smiles-  really

Tessa- yea he's cherished it since

Chance- wow that's so awesome

Tessa- sure is let's head back down

Chance and Tessa carry the blankets and dinosaur downstairs and see the kids in one if the couches waiting to press play on the Lego Movie. Tessa walks to the kids and gives then two blankets and then sits next to chance on the other couch. Tessa hits play on the movie and leans to turn the light off and then sits back on the couch. All 4 of then are watching the movie like a happy family. About 10 minutes into it chance wraps his arm around Tessa moving her closer to him and then Tessa lays her head on his chest. Tessa slowly starts to drift off to sleep. At the end of the movie both kids are sleeping and so is Tessa. Chance slowly turns the t.v off and then picks Tessa up carefully and carries her bridal style to her room. Chance goes in the room and lays Tessa on her bed and is about to leave when...

Tessa *quietly* Chance can you stay

Chance smiles- sure let me put the kids to bed first

Tessa-*smiles*  Jaces room is right next to Dylan's on the right

Chance - alright thanks

Chance leaves the room and carries Dylan and Jace to there rooms and then goes to Tessas room.
