Chapter 8

"Katie!" Shiro yelled. He was walking down the hallway with Katie on his shoulders. She was messing his tuff of white hair up. "What's up space daddy?" She asked. He giggled as she messed with his hair again. She was really light yet tall. "I love you." His cheeks lit up as she said it. "I love you to Katelyn." She lent down and left a light peck on his forehead before climbing off his back. Alura had called them for a meeting. Katie walked in first. Her brother following then Shiro. "Morning princess." Matt greeted. "Morning Matthew." Aluras cheeks burned a little. Matts did as well. Katie stumbled a tiny bit. "Are you okay?" She nodded with her big goofy smile. "Im good just getting used to wearing the new armour you have given me. Thank you by the way." Alura smiled back. She had made it easier to move in. The flexibility was better. Matt looked at her with a big cheesy grin. Katie just crossed her arms. Alura looked at Katie's chest, only the bit showing nothing weird. "What's that in your chest?" She asked. Katie immediately covered it. "Nothing? Sorry I don't know what your talking about." She was pretty good at lying. Shiro stood the opposite side of the room as the rest of the team entered. "Morning princess Alura, Matt, Shiro." No Katie. They had forgotten to say hi to her. She let out an almost silent huff covering it with a smile. She stumbled again holding her head. "Katelyn!" Shiro skidded on his knees as caught her when she fell backwards. Her eyes were shut. Samuel walked in at the very moment she fell. A small necklace like amulet with an amber jewel leapt out of her shirt and drifted down with her as she was caught. It began to glow rapidly. Shiro laid her down on the couch. "Come on Katie don't do this again." Samuel tapped his foot joined by Matt. "what do you mean
'Again'" Samuel asked. Matt looked confused now. Katie's eyes fluttered open. A sharp gasp from her lips. "I hate everyone." She stated eyes dull with no expression. "That came out of nowhere!"  Lance yelled. Snakily and saltily Keith added, "no kidding," sarcastically. She was on her knees as she hugged Shiro who fell back. "Over than my family and Shiro, Alura and Keith." Hunk looked hurt. "And Hunk." She added quickly making him ease up. Lance looked hurt. "Who am I too you then!" He asked offended. "Your the stuck up sharp shooter who hooks up with every girl. Well tries. And he only goes for the pretty ones. I'm not pretty yet I like someone in particular. Not saying any names though." Everyone looked shocked at her. Then she walked to the door. "And Alura." Alura looked up: "meeting over." With that she walked out with her amber necklace around her neck. Shiro smiled. That was his snarky lovely beautiful sassy girl he fell in love with. "She's amazing." He mumbled to himself as he watched her go in peace. Everyone looked at him. All hearing his words. His cheeks heated up. "We know she's amazing. But why are you like this?" The question was kinda dumb. They all knew he loved her so why ask. His cheeks became a darker crimson. "I love you."
