Raven's POV
Someone shakes me lightly. I open my eyes and see Marilyn's smiling face.
"She's done. Now they're naming him." I feel a smile form on my lips. "Six hours of labor."
"Jeez." I say and chuckle. He nods. I get up and stretch. My body feels sore from laying in the uncomfortable chairs. I pop my back and sit up. "When can we go to see them?"
"Well, Twiggy and Ginger just went in. So, whenever you want."
"Can we go now?" he nods and takes my hand. He leads me to the way to her room. He knocks softly and Twiggy opens the door. He presses his finger to his lips so we know to be quite. He lets us in. Ash is there, asleep on the bed and the newborn is in Zim's arms.
"Hi!" Zim says in a bright voice.
"Can I hold him?" I ask. He nods and hands the baby to me. I press him to my chest tightly so I won't drop him. "Have you two named him?"
"Yeah," he whispers. "His name is Seth." He runs his finger along his cheek.
"That's a beautiful and handsome name." I say in a high pitch voice to Seth. I rock back and forth. The baby closes his eyes. I hand Seth back to Zim. I hold Marilyn's hand and squeeze it. "He's a beautiful baby." I say to Marilyn. He smiles at me and nods.
"Yeah," he says and looks over at Seth.
I decided to make this chapter and the last two parts of chapter 30 since they are both so short, too short to be individual chapters. -Twiggy Way
