After the Pro heroes had arrived and inspected most of the villains and started to lead them out, they had all of the students gather in front of the USJ, and they were all making sure everyone was well and safe, a detective was counting off the students.

"16, 17, 18, 19." He looked at the paper he held in his hands. "No, that's not right. I should count 20 of you currently here, since that boy who left is already accounted for... Who's missing?"

The class looked around, looking to see if they could find the missing person, concern showing on all of their faces.

"Hey, where's Miss Hyida?" Iida asked, panic lacing his tone.

Everyone started to look around for Ayano, nobody seeing her in the crowd.

"I didn't see her when I was warped." Uraraka stated, placing her finger to her chin. "Was anyone warped with her?"

Everyone shook their head.

"Now that you mention it, I haven't seen her this whole time." Kirishima stated. "Do you think... She was warped alone?"

"I was warped alone too, and it was really difficult for me to fight. I only was able to survive using hit and run tactics." Ojiro stated. "But... I don't know if Ayano would be able to do that... she can skate away, but her quirk is only useful if she can get close to the person..."

There was a silence, and the detective turned to some others, talking to them in quickly.

"There may still be a student in there!" He exclaimed. "I want you to search every nook and cranny in that place, make sure to leave no stone unturned."

"Right!" They said, and rushed in.

"Sir, please let us help look for her!" Uraraka exclaimed.

"No." The detective said, "We need to get you guys back to the main campus. You've been through a lot."

"But detective!" Uraraka proclaimed.

"We promise we'll find her." He said, looking down at her with a determined look on his face. "We need to get you guys back to class."

Uraraka looked like she still wanted to fight him, but knew it wan't worth it, so she just disheartendly headed back to the bus with the rest of the class, though before she got on, she turned back to him with a determined look on her face also. "You have to notify us right away when you find her. Alright?" She demanded.

The detective smiled. "All right." He agreed, then watched as the bus started to drive away, back to the school.

He then turned back to his men, "Like I said, search every nook and cranny and leave no rock unturned." His expression turned solum, "Prepare for the worst."

When they walked back inside, they saw three of the heroes, and the three looked over at the detectives.

"You're done here, yes?" The principal asked.

"I'm afraid not, Nozu." The detective said. "I'm afraid there might be one student still in here."

The three teachers looked horrified about this new information.

"How could we of overlooked someone, we checked everywhere." Midnight said, "Everywhere except..." She gasped. "The Blizzard area. Nobody thought to look in there because it's rarely used, due to how cold and dangerous it was for kids without ice quirks. Not to mention how tucked away it is in the back of the USJ."

"She might get buried under the snow if we don't find her in time!" The detective exclaimed, and the large group headed to the furthest back dome, Nozu went to the control panel and turned off the blizzard.

"We'll have an easier way of finding her without all the snow, and this way, she won't get buried under it." He stated, and they all walked in, their eyes adjusting to the bright white snow inside the dome, breaths clouding up in front of them in clouds.

"Spread out!" The detective exclaimed, and everyone nodded, spreading out. "Please contact everyone if you find the student!" He called after them.

The detective walked in the deep snow, hearing the crunch of it under his feet as it reached up to his anckles, his breath billowing out in front of him. After walking forwards for a long while, his eyes widened as he saw pools of blood here and there, a rock nearby was covered in blood, it looked horrifying. He didn't really want to know what had happened.

Walking more, he saw a group of villains laying in the snow, half submerged and some of them were encompassed in ice, all around them was a giant area of blood soaked snow. he walked some more, following a track of bloody footprints until he saw a small bump in the snow a small ways in ahead of him. Running up, he saw a teenage girl laying in the snow facedown, her costume had been torn up, and when he turned her around, so she was laying on her back, he noticed the frozen blood on her stomach, and a weak trickle of blood was making it's way from under the ice.

He pulled out a communicator, "Everyone, I found the student. I'm in need of urgent backup, and an ambulance!" He shouted.

There were some responses from the others, but the detective didn't hear what they said exactly, he was instead staring at the girls face, or, half of it to be more specific. It was completely covered in ice. He let out a breath he didn't realize he was holding when he saw the quick shallow rise and fall of her chest, she was still alive. For now.

"Unable... Melt..."

A voice made it's way to Ayano's ears, and she tried to open her eyes, but they wouldn't obey her. She had no energy. Focusing on the rest of her body, she felt bandages wrapped around the right side of her face, and bandages wrapping all the way around her torso.

She took a deep breath in, because that was the only thing she knew she could do, though there was a slight ache as she did so.

"What do you mean you're unable to melt the ice?" A different voice made it's way to Ayano's ears.

"I've tried everything, my quirk, warm light, fire, everything that should work. But nothing did." The first voice started again, it was familiar, and Ayano recognized it as Recovery Girls.

"We thought you would be able to help us." The second voice said. "But... Is there really no way to melt the ice on her face?"

"It's there forever." Ayano whispered, managing to open her unfrozen eye and speak. Though even doing that was tiring. "It can't be melted." She had gained the attention from the two people in the room, but she didn't bother looking at them, she just kept staring up at the white celling of what she assumed was the ER.

"You're awake!" The unfamiliar voice exclaimed, and he moved into Ayano's line of sight, he seemed to be a doctor. "How are you feeling."

"Like flaming crap." Ayano replied hoarsely. "But... I'm alive I guess."

The doctor smiled, "Try to get some rest, you had a tough day."

I'd say. Ayano thought. She glanced to her side, seeing two other beds in the room with people occupying them. Next to one of them, there was Thirteen's torn up suit. "Will they be okay?" She asked.

"They'll be just fine. But you worry about yourself, deary." Recovery girl said. "Get some rest. I need to head back to campus. I have to make sure those two aren't causing any trouble."

"Of course." The doctor stated. "Thank you for coming."

Ayano didn't listen to their conversation anymore, she was finding it harder and harder to keep her eye open, and she soon closed it, letting sleep take over.

Those last few chapters were really intense. And I'm so sorry Ayano,

Why must I do this to my characters? It's terrible.

I feed off of their tears. That's why. I get my power source from them. I need the tears.
