It wasn't long until both Uraraka and Bakugo were on the arena, Uraraka standing rigid and Bakugo slouching down his hands in his pockets.
"The eighth and last match of the first round!" Present Mic Announced. "He was kind of famous in middle school! With a face only a mother could love! From the Hero Course, Bakugo Katsuki!" Present Mic announced, and Ayano burst out laughing, unable to hold it back.
He just called Bakaho ugly as hell! She thought to herself trying to stop her laughter.
"Versus— She's the one I'm rooting for! From the Hero Course, it's Ochaco Uraraka! Eighth match, start!"
"Midoriya." Iida said, getting the attention of both Ayano and Izuku. "What was the strategy you were going to tell Uraraka earlier for her to use against Bakugo?"
"It wasn't much, really." Izuku admitted, looking down at his notebook, "Kacchan's strong. In a real close combat fight, he has almost no openings, and the more he moved, the more he sweats, making his Explosion Quirk stronger. He can use the blasts from his explosions to move around in the air, but if Uraraka touches Kacchan, and uses his quirk to make him float, then she would have the upper hand. That's why... the first thing Uraraka should do is a swift attack!"
Ayano looked down at the arena, and watched as Uraraka moved close to the ground, running quickly towards Bakugo ready to use her quirk on him with her fingers outstretched.
"Alright!" Izuku exclaimed, "That's good! Even if it's an accident, as long as she can touch him, she can make him float!"
"Bakugo's not going to let that happen." Ayano muttered to herself, knowing that both Iida and Izuku couldn't hear her. "He might be a huge idiot that does things with out thinking, he still managed to get into this school. He's smart." With that said Ayano ignored the rest of what Iida and Izuku were saying.
Once Uraraka got close enough, Bakugo reeled his arm back, then stopped it under, an explosion emitting from his hand right in Uraraka's face. All around her, everyone looked panicked, and scared for the girl who just went face on with one of Bakugo's explosions.
A second later, Ayano watched as Bakugo sent out another explosion, though as the smoke cleared, Ayano noticed that only Uraraka's jacket was under his hand, and not even a second later, Uraraka appeared out of the smoke and headed behind Bakugo.
"Oh!" Present Mic exclaimed in shock, "She made her jacket float and sent it over there?! She did it in an instant too!"
Though Jesus as it looked like Uraraka was going to make contact with Bakugo and make him float, another explosion was sent her way, sending the girl back, rolling on the ground.
"He's showing her no mercy." Ayano stated, her eye widened. "Not to mention, he's so much quicker than I thought he was!"
The smoke cleared again, only to be replaced with more from a new explosion. Every time Uraraka got close to Bakugo, she would be sent away by another explosion. Smoke filled the arena, and Ayano could feel the heat from his explosions making her sweat.
"Uraraka keeps attaching without rest, but... this is..." Present Mic stated, concern in his voice as he watched the scene before him.
"Hey, shouldn't you stop this?" Someone from the hero section shouted out.
"Isn't this going to far?" Someone else asked.
A couple minutes passed until Ayano noticed something out of the corner of her eye, looking up, she saw bits and pieces of the arena floating overhead, with another explosion, Ayano watched as two more joined the others up there.
"No way." Ayano whispered.
"What?" Iida asked, not moving is eyes from the arena.
"Nothing." Ayano said, not wanting to spread it around that Uraraka has been sending rocks and debris from the fight to above the arena. "Bakugo's just going too hard on her." She lied.
"Hey! How can you say you want to be a hero like that?!" A hero shouted angrily from the crowd, "If there's such a huge difference in your abilities, then hurry up and send her out of bounds! Stop bullying and playing with the poor girl!"
"Yeah! Yeah!" Another hero agreed, and it wasn't long before the hero's were booing Bakugo.
"There's booing from part of the crowd..." Present Mic announced, "But honestly, I also feel the sa— An elbow?! What're ya doing!?"
"Was that a pro saying he's playing around?" Aizawa's muffled voice came through the speakers, and the crowd started to quiet down, "How many years have yo been a pro? If you're saying that with a straight face, there's no point in you watching anymore, so go home! Go home and look into changing careers! Bakugo is being careful because he's acknowledged the strength of his opponent who has made it this far. It's because he's doing everything he can to win that he can't go easy on her or let his guard down."
Ayano looked at the announcer's box, seeing the dark figure of Aizawa standing there, she then looked back down to the arena and watched as the smoke cleared. Down on the arena, Uraraka was moving her hands together.
"The pro's didn't notice it, didn't they." Ayano mused to herself.
"Notice what?" Iida asked, and Ayano just pinged up towards the rocks floating in the sky. The countless number of rocks and debris floating peacefully in the sky above the arena. In an instant, they all came barreling down towards the arena.
"She had a desperate plan like that up her sleeve?" Izuku shouted in shock.
"You didn't notice?" Ayano asked, watching as Uraraka made her way towards Bakugo, only to be thrown back by the force of an explosion aimed upwards towards the meteor shower, and Ayano felt a blast of hot air aimed her way.
The smoke cleared, and Ayano saw Uraraka on the ground, with Bakugo standing still, his hand still aimed towards the air.
"B-Bakugo delivers a satisfying explosion!" Present Mic exclaimed, "He blasts boldly through Uraraka's secret plan!"
Ayano watched as Uraraka forced herself to stand up, swaying slightly. And Bakugo started to run towards her, his hand held out to the side ready to produce another explosion. But he stopped suddenly once Uraraka fell to the ground, out of energy.
"Uraraka's down!" Present Mic announced, and Ayano watched with pity in her eyes as the poor girl started to crawl towards Bakugo, stopping not too much later.
Midnight walked up to her, and the crowd waited in anticipation.
"Uraraka's out of commission." She announced, "Bakugo advances to the second round!"
"The eighth match of the first round." Present Mic said, extremely downcast, "Oh, Uraraka..." he muttered with a sigh. "Oh yeah, Bakugo advances to the second round."
"If you're gonna do it, do it properly." Aizawa scolded.
"No, let's pull ourselves together, the first round is all done! Let's move on to the next round quickly after a short break!"
