So L is dead . I guess he chose near as his successor , after all , he was L's favourite . But I will show near I can be better than him . I can and I will . I will beat near at finding Kira and then I will be L's true successor. For as long as I could remember I was always living in near's shadow . But not any more . I will show him and anyone else who ever doubted me . I would find Kira before near and bring him to justice .

So I know that light yagami is Kira and I know that misa amane is the second Kira, or more so was . I don't think misa is responsible for the deaths of the recent victims . I am looking at all reports of Kira's victims to try and connect them to light .
2 hours later It is hopeless but what did I expect . If L could never gather solid evidence then Kira is no idiot . From the start he was smart about things and to this day has remained anonymous. Wait , what's this ?! An old newspaper about a girl called naomi misora , fiancé of raye penber , still missing after 2 years . Raye penber, where have I heard that name before? Then it hit me like a bus . I looked through all the reports of deaths that occurred around the same time as Kira was first discovered. Raye penber , got it .

I stopped reading and set myself a new task . To find a connection between light and naomi but to do that I was going to need help from an old friend of mine. Mello .

I can do this . It has been 4 hours and I hadn't been able to come up with a single suspect for Kira . A chat request suddenly flashed on my screen.
