Chapter 3

I woke up the next morning and found Skylar and Valerie downstairs. They were sitting at the table.

"Good morning, Vivian." Valerie greeted me.

"Morning." I responded and sat in front of them.

"So, we think we've found the brides mates dresses."

"That's good." I poured a cup of juice and offered them some. Valerie accepted a cup, but Skylar shook her head. The door opened and closed. Kendall and Vincent came inside.

"Hey Viv." He smiled. "Morning Valerie, Skylar."

"Morning Kendall. Morning Vincent." Valerie said. Vincent gave her a smile.

"We aren't intruding, are we?" Vincent asked.

"Of course not. We were just leaving." Valerie and Skylar stood. "Goodbye everyone." They left.

"Ken has told me that you two were ambushed yesterday." Vincent stated.

"Yes, by two vampires and they made it seem like they weren't the only ones that knew about us." I took a sip of juice and turned to Kendall. "Do you want some juice?" He nodded. I got up and poured him a cup.

"Do you two think that people know about you?' Vincent studied us.

"Maybe. How else would those two know about us?" Kendall chugged his juice.

"But who and why?" I asked. Another person entered the house. It was Kingsley. Her blonde hair was pulled back into a pony tail. She had her phone in her hand.

"There is a video of you guys online."

"Really?" Kendall asked. Kingsley pushed the phone towards us. On the screen was Kendall and I. I took out my wings. We were walking into the forest behind my house. Kendall had pulled me to him. We stared at each other. We kissed and I leaped into the air. Kendall took off running at vampire speed. Then I realized this wasn't just a video of us . It was a video proof of a vampire and a fairy together. And it seemed obvious that we loved each other.

"Who made this and has everyone seen it?" I turned away from the screen.

"I'm not sure and I don't know." Kingsley replied.

"This would explain why these vampires were after you." Vincent concluded.

"But that could mean that every supernatural person knows." Kendall pointed out.

"If that was true, then you two need to stay closer to home. We don't want you to get attacked." Kendall and I nodded. Kingsley put away her phone. She smiled at Vincent. He grinned back. They looked like they were about to say something, but my mom came downstairs. She, Kingsley, and Kendall didn't seem to notice what's going on. I took Kendall's hand.

"Let's go somewhere." He raised his eyebrows, but didn't question me.

"Brown eyes, stay close to the house." Vincent warned.

"We will." Kendall replied for me. We went to Kendall's car.

"Is there something going on with you and Vincent?" Kendall met my gaze.

"No. Of course not." I lied. He shrugged.

"I need to pick up something from my house." He stared the car and drove out of my driveway.  We pulled into his 5 minutes later. He opened my door and we went inside, holding hands as we did. He let go of my hand and went upstairs. I sat on the couch. A minute later, there was a knock at the door. Kendall hurried downstairs to get it. When the door opened, he stumbled backwards.

"Kendall, what's wrong?" I asked. I went to his side and gasped. His parents were at the door.
