Chapter 14

"Jerry, stop it." Vivian pleaded.

"I can't, Vivian. I think you should be with someone who deserves you." Jerry eye's darted at Kendall.

"You think you deserve her?" Kendall asked with disbelief. "You have to force yourself on her." Jerry became enraged and punched Kendall. Vivian screamed.

The whole thing became a mess. Kingsley and Cynthia started screaming at each other. Kendall and Jerry started fighting over Vivian. Valerie started crying over the destruction of her bridal shower. Aaron tried to get things under control.

"Calm down, please." He heard mummers through the crowd.

"This is the worst shower ever." A woman complained.

"Those children act so despicably." Said an older man.

"I blame the parents." The whole place erupted in voices. Landon stood on a table.

"Everyone, calm down!" He called. Everyone became silent.

"Thank you for coming everyone, but the showers over." Aaron told them to leave. After the area cleared, Aaron stalked over to his daughter and her boyfriend.

"This is how you act when there is a little tension?"

"Sir-"

"I don't want to hear it, Kendall. When I gave you my blessing, I thought you deserved it. I thought you were her better half. But now I'm not so sure." Aaron glared at Kendall.

"Mr. Donaldson, I was just-"

"Just what? Fighting at a very important night of your girlfriend's father." Aaron sneered.

"Sir, I'm sorry. I couldn't let Jerry get away with trying to kiss Vivian." Kendall's looked at Jerry. So did Aaron.

"Jerry. I'm going to have to ask you to leave." Aaron dismissed him. When he was gone, Aaron turned back to Kendall.

"This doesn't make up for your behavior." Aaron snapped.

"I didn't want him to flirt with Vivian." Kendall replied defensively.

"Why? Was she kissing him back? Did she show any emotion towards him?" Aaron asked. He didn't wait for an answer. "She loves you. You didn't need to start a fight because she'll always choose you."

"Dad, that's enough." Vivian chimed in.

"Vivvy, go home." Aaron ordered.

"No." She stated.

"Vivian Hope Donaldson, do what your told."

"But dad-" She started.

"No buts. Go home." She gave Kendall an apologetic look as she left.

"Now, let's talk."
