Chapter 28 - Confident

"Are you sure that I could come?" I asked Ethan.

"Clay invited you.."

"But.. We just met like 2 days ago." I said and Ethan smiled.

"It's okay." He kissed my cheek and held my hand.

"Come on.. You look beautiful, don't worry." He said and I nodded weakly. We walked inside the house and yes.. Clay celebrated his birthday in his house and it's damn crowded.

Ethan put his arm around my shoulder as we walked in and I saw a lot of glares from the girls. Oh boy.. I'm guessing that because I date their guy.

"You okay?"

"Yeah." I smiled weakly to Ethan.

"Clay!" Ethan saw him and hugged him.

"Happy birthday bro!"

"Happy birthday, Clay. Thankyou for inviting me." I said as I hugged him briefly.

"Your welcome, I mean you're my buddy's girl. I nerd to invite you." He said and I chuckled.

"Thankyou for coming guys.. and enjoy." Clay said and he walked away to mingle with other guests.

"Hey.. Ethan." We both turned our heads to the person who called Ethan. Oh my gosh this girl is drop dead georgous.

"Hey Sav.." So this is the Savanna.

"Who is this?" Savanna looked at me smiling sweetly but her eyes were ready to kill me. She looked at me coldly and then turned to Ethan sweetly.

"My girlfriend, Kimberly."

"Oh.. You're the Kimberly." I raised my eyebrows.

"I talked about you a lot so people knew." Ethan said and I turned to him confuse.

"Mind if I borrow your boyfriend?" Savanna asked me sweetly.

"I mind." I said. I know Ethan and Savanna didn't expect that coming.

"For what? Why do you need to borrow my boyfriend?" I asked crossing my arms in front of my chest.

"Project.."

"Why talking about project here? I'm not an idiot." I said coldly to her and walked a step foward towards her.

"Do you think I will snatch your boyfriend or something?"

"Do you think I'm blind for not noticing it?" I smirked and she looked at me disbelief. She stomped her feet and left.

"Wow.. I can't believe you did that." I heard Ethan said and I smirked. I walked to the bar to get a beer.

"Babe.. You were so sexy back then.." I drank my beer and Ethan back hugged me.

"So you hooked up with her?" I turned my body facing Ethan. He chuckled and leaned his face down.

"I never hooked up with anyone babe.. Don't worry." He kissed me and I smiled.

"Oh right.. I need to show you something.." He said and he held my hand. He pulled me to the lift and we got inside. He pressed the 3rd floor.

"You sure that we're okay to do this?" I asked.

"We already crashed into each other houses so don't worry." Ethan smiled. The lift dings and we walked out from it. Ethan pulled me out to the balcony mand gestured me to climb up a ladder to the rooftop. I climbed up first and wow.. Clay got a really cool roof top.

There's lights everywhere and it's just feel so cozy.

"Sit down.." Ethan said and I sat down on the high chair and looked around to see the beautiful night view.

"Here you go." He gave me a can of beer and he sat beside me.

"I know that this will be rude but.. Savanna is a really one hot and beautiful girl. I can't believe thay you never hooked up with her. What do you even see in this?" I gestured my face and he smiled. He chuckled and drank his beer. I looked at him with my flat face and he caressed my cheek.

"So do boys always need to be with a beautiful and a hot girl?" He asked.

"A guy like you.. definitely yes." I said and he ruffled my hair.

"Beautiful and hot are not everlasting. Imagine being with someone to spend the rest of your life only because she's beautiful and hot. Do you think I will be happy?" He asked and I turned to him but he's looking at the view.

"There's a lot of points for us men to find the right girl.. So.. listen.. if a guy still dates sexy, hot, sexy and beautiful girl.. it means they're not ready to be in a really long-term relationship. We, men.. I mean.. Even a bad, crazy, pshyco man will choose a good girl instead of hot, sexy and beautiful only for their life-time partner. Someone who can make them happy.. someone who can make the comfortable.. someone who can support them when they're down.. That's a men secret" He continued and I chuckled.

"Good to know bad boy.."

"Do you get it?" He suddenly asked.

"Yeah.."

"Kimberly.. do you get it?" He asked and I raised my eyebrows.

"I get it, Ethan." I chuckled and he suddenly sighed.

"What? Did I say something wrong?" I asked.

"A man will pick a great and a good woman for their life-time partner." He stated it slowly and I know what he ment but I wanted to pretend that I'm dumb.

"You said that already.." I said and he looked at me disbelief.

"Kimberly.."

"Yes Ethan?" I asked and I sipped my beer

"Nothing.." He sighed and I smirked secretly while sipping my beer again. I looked at the view and inhaled the cold breeze.

"Don't go to UK." I stated.

"Huh? What do you mean?"

"I'm going back to London in 5 days and I want you not to visit me there." I turned to him and he looked at me disbelief.

"Are you kidding me?"

"Do I look like I'm joking?" I asked.

"What? Why?"

"I'm coming back again in 6 months.. Wait for me."

"What? Why? You know I'll miss you and it will make me crazy." He said and looking at me in horror.

"Do you think I won't?"

"Kimberly.. please. We only got 1 week and it's not enough. I need to go to Londor for like a month or something.. or should I move to Lon-" I cut him by crashing my lips to him and kissed him passionately.

"You'll understand about t later.. Trust me okay?" I said and looked straight to his eyes.

"I trust you but.."

"Then.. listen to me for this."

"Kimberly.. please." He begged and I shook my head.

"Okay fine.. If it's that what you want.. I'll do it. As long as you promise me that you won't look at oth-"

"I've love you since highschool, Ethan. It's been years and I still feel the same.. You've got to be kidding me if you think that I will cheat."

"Okay fine.. Aren't you going to worry about me?"

"Nah.. You love me.. a lot. You won't look at other girls." I said confidently.
