Chapter 21 - Want Her

"You tired?" Rafe stroked my hair

"A little" I answered

"Since it's done , let's go home" Rafael slipped his hand to my waist and we walked out from the ballroom. He held me tightly

"What is he doing here?" Rafe asked coldly and I turned to where his eyes land

"He's one of my dad's guest" Rafe and Ethan glared at each other and they're ready to kill each other

"Let's go" Rafael pulled me out to the lobby. We got into my car and Rafe insisted that he wants to drop me first instead of dropping him first

I leaned to his shoulder all the time and he always kissed the too of my head and I felt loved. He never fail me so this time I don't want to fail him

I can right? I can learn to love Rafael right?

"You go.. I'll go inside after you go" I said and he shook his head

"I want to-"

"Rafe.. I'm not a baby" I cut him and he chuckled

"You're always be my baby Maddie" He ruffled my hair

"Go.. See you tomorrow" I said and he nodded. He got into the car again and he waved at me. I waved back and smiled widely. The car slowly dissapearing and I walked to my fence

"Are you happy?" I froze and I turned my body to Ethan

"Yeah" I looked straight into his eyes

"You're lying" He walked closer to me and I walked backwards

"What exactly do you want Ethan?" He stopped as he's a step away from me. He looked at me without any expression. It's like he's looking for something from my eyes

"I don't know what I want to be exactly. I'm happy that you're done with me but I'm damn mad when that bastard touch you and kiss you. I love the fact that you're not appearing in front of me again but I hate the fact that I will never get that look from you again.. I don't know what I want Kimberly" He said in a really painful tone

"I have Rafael now"

"He loves you but you don't love him" He stated and I scoffed

"Who are you saying that? Do you even know my heart?" I hissed coldly suddenly he leaned to me. I trembled and my eyes widen

"Let's talk somewhere else" He took my hand and pulled me into his car. I tried to pull my hand from his grip but it's useless. I got into his car and he got into his side. He started the car and drove away

I turned to him and found his face look so serious. I turned my head back looking straight. I'm so tired that I can't hold my eyes. I leaned my body back and started to sleep

I opened my eyes slowly and I felt my hand was held. I turned to see Ethan was holding my hand and he looked straight to the beautiful view

"When you left 2 years ago , it felt the same when my sister left me" He said in a really painful tone

"I started to realize everything when I was in Toronto. It was weird leaving Seattle even it was just for a couple of months. It's weird that I don't see you everyday , I don't mock or insult you , I don't see your cheery self , I don't hear your advice and just starting to missing your presence a lot"

"I thought your presence was nothing to me , but it's starting to make a really big influence to my life. I saw that you have a really kind heart , how you always be good to people even they had hurted you"
