Chapter 29 - Big Time

"I thought she will surprise you.." Leon said and I shook my head.

"Yeah.. She's comeback in 2 months anyway." I said sadly and I looked at the clock. It's 11.34 and there's no way she will come. Gosh Ethan.. this is not a drama or something.

"Just have fun okay? Want me to call the girls?" I glared at Clay and he laughed.

"I'm kidding dude.. I know you love Kimberly to death."

"So let's have a drink again." Joshua raised the glass. After that I took a cab back home and yes.. I'm a little bit dissapoint. Kimberly just called me this morning to wish me a happy birthday. She bought a cake and lit up the candles. She sent Camilla to gave me the present but still.. I want her instead of present.

I decided just to wait for her because I know it will be worth it. Gosh our loves story has a lot of ups and downs.

"What's with the face?" Crystal asked.

"Don't talk to me.." I said.

"Dude.. it's your birthday." Lucas said.

"It's already pass." I pointed at the clock and I walked to my bedroom. I threw my body to my bed and went to dreamland.

"Baby.. wake up." I felt someone kissed my cheek.

"Ethan.. baby." I opened my eyes and saw Kimberly smiling at me. She caressed my check and crashed her lips to mine. Gosh she's real.

She hugged me tightly and I can't contain my happiness.

"Gosh you're here."

"I'm here.. I'm sorry that I don't come in time. My plane got delayed because of the storm in London." We both looked at each other and she smiled. She got off the bed and picked up something from the table.

"Happy birthday Ethan.. Happy birthday Ethan.. Happy birthday happy birthday.. happy birthday to you." She sand and brought the cake to the bed. She sat in front of me and smiled.

"Clay told me that you were so dissapointed."

"That jerk!" I hissed and she chuckled.

"Make a wish and blow the candles.." I closed my eyes and then blew the candles. She smiled and put the cake on the table beside my bed.

"Give me a hug." I opened my arms and she hugged me. She buried her face to my neck.

"You were dissapointed?" She asked.

"Yeah.. I miss you so much and you don't even let me to go to London."

"Our relationship is stronger because of that.. you silly." She kissed my cheek and looked straight to my eyes.

"I know.. but still.. glad you're back." I hugged her tight again and she chuckled.

"Good to hear that.."

"Wait.. it's 4?" My eyes widen..

"Yeah.."

"Don't tell me that you just landed?"

"Yes.. I went straight here because I heard that my boyfriend was being so grumpy all day." She said and I hissed.

"Lucas told you that?"

"It's a secret." She kissed my cheek.

"Can you please stay here?" I begged.

"Do you think I have other place to go? I didn't tell my family that I'm coming to New York." She smirked and I looked at her disbelief.

"I can't believe you.."

"Well.. I'm doing this for my boyfriend." She poked my chest.

"I love you so much!" I gave her a peck on her lips and she chuckled.

"I'm tired.. mind cuddling me to sleep?" She asked and I nodded. We both lay down on my bed and she cuddled to me. I kissed her forehead.

"I have to go back to London the day after tomorrow." She said.

"I'm going there."

"Ethan.. We both have school."

"You're skipping school for me and I will do that for you too.." I said and she smacked my chest lightly.

"Well.. I guess.. I love that idea."

"Good thing that you're agreeing to this.." I said and she hugged me tighter.

"Gosh Kimberly.. You should know that you're killing me.. I miss you so so much." I said and there's no answer. I smiled knowing that this girl already go to dreamland.

I waited for some time and slipped out from the bed. I out the cake back into the box and put it on the fridge. I made myself a hot chocolate and can't help but smiled widely.

"After being grumpy.. at last.. you're smiling." I jumped a little because of my dad.

"Yeah.. I missed her that's all." I said as I poured the hot water to my glass.

"She told us she was going to come but her flight got delayed."

"Really? You guys knew it all a long?" I looked at him disbelief.

"Yeah.. I mean she was supposed to come here like 4 p.m yesterday and your brother helped her to book a restaurant but you know.. she got delayed." My dad said as he made his coffee.

"I see." I smiled.

"She was panicked when her flight got delayed but you know we told her that her safety is more important."

"As always.. Kimberly." I smiled.

"I know that look.." He said and I looked up to him raising my eyebrows.

"What?"

"The same look when I knew that I was in love with your mother." He chuckled and I smiled widely.

"Your coffee is ready old man.. I'm going back to bed." I said as I patted his shoulder. I walked up to my bedroom and can't help but smile seeing Kimberly snuggling my pillow. I slowly slipped back to my bed and hugged her tightly.

"I guess I am.. I am falling in love for this girl.. big time." I kissed her forehead and closed my eyes to go to sleep.
