She gets it now,
she cant be friends with you.
All she can think about is how happy you made her at one point...
and how scared you left her.
She couldn't picture her life without you.
When you left she was scared, heck she was terrified.
She couldn't sleep and it scared her.
She had been scared that you would leave and it was happening.
You were leaving.
She had managed to convince herself that it was for the best and so it ended.
She woke up the next day depressed, not able to leave her bed.
She shook with sadness and all she wanted to do was curl up in a ball and cry,
but she didn't.
That's what you didn't see,
you had made her so happy and once you left she felt like she had been crippled without your love.
That's why she is not ready to let you in as her friend.
Maybe some other time, just not now.
