FREAKING UNBELIEVABLE.
Hyunggu yanked his arm back and kept walking towards the exit. I followed him, trying to keep up to his pace. "Hey! We need to talk." I said.
He ignored me.
"Please! You're the first person who ever saw me—and who I can touch!"
He kept walking.
"I need help." I finally said. And then I realized another mindblowing thing: I surpassed the boundaries of the school. I AM OUTSIDE. "Oh my gosh..." I muttered again, blinking my eyes.
Hyunggu finally turned to me sharply. "I told you to leave me alone. Stop following me!"
He must have seen the pure surprise and disbelief on my face because his expression softened. "What?" he asked.
I swallowed. "I'm outside."
He rolled his eyes and looked around. There aren't people around this area. Maybe he knew that already that's why this is the exit he took.
"You love stating the obvious, don't you?" he said, frowning.
"You don't understand! I couldn't step out of the school. I was stuck."
He sighed and said, "Well, congrats. Now you can travel places."
"Where are you going?" I asked when he turned to leave.
"Home."
"But—"
"Don't follow me. Ghosts aren't allowed at home."
I followed him anyway. I could hear him muttering under his breath. His house is huge and nice. He opened the black gate and slammed it on my face. "You really are such a badass." I said, walking through it. Another thing to be added to the list of weird things that's happened today. He groaned and headed inside the house. Despite how big and nice it is, it's pretty empty. It's like we're the only ones inside.
"Do you live here alone?" I asked.
"No." he replied, marching upstairs. He opened another door, which might be his bedroom. "Why is it so quiet?"
"Because people have lives. They're busy."
"Why are—"
"—are you so nosy?" He asked.
My cheeks heated up. "Sorry. Your house is nice." I said before entering his bedroom. He closed the door.
"You are trespassing." He said, tossing his backpack in the corner of the room.
I'm surprised by the amount of books stacked in his bookshelves, and the amount of books on his desk. His bed is well made and later on, a small dog peeked out under it. Hyunggu reached for the white dog and pet it smoothly. "Hello, Ella." He greeted with a soft smile. Well, he looks kind for once. But Ella, the dog, stormed off his arms towards me and barked.
"Oh, she hates me..."
"Of course, she does. You're a ghost."
"Uh, thanks for reminding me that."
He picked up Ella and tried to calm her down. He went out of his room and when he came back, Ella is nowhere to be found. "You're over staying your welcome." He said as he opened his closet and grabbed random clothes.
"I need help."
"Right, like every other ghosts I've seen." He said, starting to unbutton his uniform.
I gasped. "What are you doing?"
"I'm getting changed. This is my room."
"In front of a girl?"
