Clarence:

Why am I freezing? Why's it so dark? Where am i ?

All of these questions swarmed my head as I woke up. I was drenched with sweat, like I took a bath. I tried to move but couldn't . I was bound by hands and ankles. Where ever I was it was dark and freezing. I tried to open my mouth but found a rag of some sort was wedged in my throat.

"Mhmhnm!"

Of course no one could hear me, it was so silent. If I could free my hands...

It was pitch-black so I put my hands in front to feel for anything that could help. Bingo! I grab around a rock that is super sharp. My hands and feet were bound by rope of course so I used the rock to saw my hands. It took over an estimated half-hour.

Finally with my hands free, I untied my feet. I took out the gag and was free, but alone. Now that I could move I stood up and found a wall. I checked my pockets, only to realize I was still in my pj's.

What time is it?

It must be morning at least.

I inch along the wall feeling for a switch. The walls are smooth and cold. Feels like brick. My hands find a switch and I flip it. The room instantly is flooded with light. I take in my surroundings.

In what I thought was a huge room, was about the size of a closet. The walls were indeed brick. But the room was a attic. There was a small window in the corner, but was so dusty you couldn't see out.

There was nothing in the attic except for me.

Why in the world would I be here? How did I get here? Who brought me?

From the window though I could see it was day. Not sure what time, but day. I turned and found a door. So naïve I rushed to open it, but to find there was no handle. It was a one way door. Beside the door was a slot. It was locked.

I walked back to the middle of the attic, and as I did, the slot opened. I jumped. In came a plate. On the plate was a piece of chicken, and a spoonful of rice. A glass of water and a note came too.

Now that I smelled food, I was incredibly famished. I gobbled the chicken and rice fast. I drank the water. I looked at the note. It was typed not handwritten:

How's it going princess? Enjoy you're meal? Get comfy.

That was all the note said. 'Get comfy'? I sat near the window, just thinking. Wondering what did I do.
