Connor:
Because I had Zoe and Natasha in the backseat i couldn't couldn't call Caleb or go to his house.
"Where can i drop you two?" I ask.
"Your house." ZOe answers.
"And why would I?"
"You owe me an explanation still about Clarence's house."
I groan inwardly. I should've been more careful around her house.
"If i tell you now will you forget about it?" I ask.
"Hmm"
"I was there because ..umm the day before Clarence kind of broke up with me so i came to try and take her back." The lie seemed decent to me. But of course not with these two.
"But why were you near the cellar?" Natasha questions.
"Because ahh she was there? Listen, i'm dropping you at school find a ride back home." I pull into the school drive and unlock the doors.
I guess the girls knew i wasn't going to give the truth so they surrendered by leaving.
"We'll find the truth Connor. 'Cause why would Clarence call us if we aren't friends no more." With that remark Natasha and Zoe flounce away.
Im sitting here wondering how could they have received a call from Clarence. It was probably when she was back at my house since we never disconnected the land lines.
I decide to retire any more activity for the day and head home .
